I'm so excited by this week's Retro Rubber Challenge #73 - BOO! I love my old Halloween sets! I'll use the layout from Freshly Made Sketch #308 to help me along! These spooky colors from Color Throwdown #464 seem appropriate, too! I was glad for a chance to browse the retired shelves - I just finally got my work room rearranged enough that I could get my retired sets back up on shelves instead of hiding under my desk in produce flats - whew! What a job it was getting my shelving squared away, but I'm so glad to have the legroom back under my desk, lol. Anyway, I spotted my Scary Skeleton set from 2009 - I love his googly eyes so much! I kept it fairly simple, a little embossing, sparing on the color, but at least he's dancing! He must be as happy as I am about being out from under the desk again, lol... Scary Skeleton Stamp Set (retired - 2009); Whisper White, Smoky Slate & Pumpkin Pie CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Spider Web EF (retired); 3/4" & 7/8" Circle Punches; Black Sequins; #RR73; #FMS308; #CTD464. Christmas 2017 Part 2 Class Oct 21! Yes, yes, yes!! I have our Part 2 Christmas Cards Bonus Class all ready to go, and I can't WAIT for you to see our lovely projects! There were so many amazing sets in the Holiday Catty that I've put together SIX cards for us, and have prepped my little heart out for you all so that you can concentrate on the creating! Sleigh Bells will definitely be ringing! Christmas Cards 2017 Part 2 Bonus Class is announced for SATURDAY ONLY, Oct 21, 3 pm, chez Heroldt. The dancing skeleton is great but my favourite is that cobweb embossed background. Thanks for joining us again at Retro Rubber, Heather.

Oh goodness!! this skeleton reminds me of some of the cartoons I used to watch as a wee kid, dancing skeletons prancing around with little flowers and crows, LOL!!

Too cute! Your dancing guy is having a fun time being the center of attention on this great card! Love the embossing to help him stay as the focal point. Your card shows that you don't have to have lots of details to be a great card. Thank you for playing along with us at Retro Rubber - we always love seeing you in our gallery!

I've seen a couple of people use that embossing folder - now I want it!! Love your dancing skeleton, he is very cool. I really like the addition of the little kitty and the pop of orange. Thanks for playing along at Retro Rubber. Claire DT
