Retro Taffy

Hm, check out the funky tiled background at this week's Retro Sketch #119 - neato!
The very first thing that occurred to me for this one was that it was a great chance to showcase one of my new DSPs!  Or to use up some scraps, but I have a feeling I'll be more MAKING scraps this time 'round...
One new DSP that I'm totally loving right now is the new Sweet Taffy - so bright and cheery, and it features a yummy range of our Brights collection colors, too.  I have to admit, this DSP is allowing me to put off getting a big Brights DSP stack just a little bit longer, lol...  The card papers were so cheery that I had to borrow a sentiment from a new stamp set Ray of Sunshine to go with - totally NOT what I got the set for, but a cute way to sneak it in!

Summer School is OPEN!

Did you miss out on a past project that we did?  Have a gap in your shadow box insert collection?  Gave away your creation and wish you still had one for your house?  Missing a wreath for your seasonal decor?  Want an old project updated with a new twist?  Now's your chance to make it happen!
For the months of June and July, we'll be having summer school - your chance to take any past class you want!  Browse my past offerings, or describe to me something you remember us doing (this blog only goes back to early 2012) and then just email me which one you'd like to make up or repeat, and if you prefer day, evening or weekend.  We'll schedule just for you, and work around your summer plans!  No need to worry about being away for our regular class nights!
Once classes are scheduled, I'll post them here, so if anyone else wants to jump in on your choice, they can!

Flip Calendar Class is Scheduled!
Our Flip Calendar Class is scheduled for Tuesday, July 1, 630 pm - and this one has lots of prep work, so be sure to let me know if you'd like to join us, and I'll make sure to have your supplies ready and waiting!  RSVP today!  We'll be updating this project with the new Day to Day stamp set!

Pumpkin Club Saturday, June 28!
I am delighted to announce that our long-talked-about Paper Pumpkin Club is finally getting started!  Our very first club night is scheduled for Saturday, June 28, 3 pm, chez Heroldt!  My plan is for Pumpkin Club to take place the last Saturday of every month from now on, at 3 pm.  My intention is for Pumpkin Club to be free with your subscription, or maybe never more than $5 if we decide to really pump up our Pumpkins, lol.  RSVP today so I can make sure I have enough snacks for all!
At this first meeting, we'll be working on the just-shipping-this-week June Kit, which has a patriotic theme!  I got to see a little preview of the kit, which doesn't happen every time - it was SO EXCITING!  It made me go and add a second subscription to just play more with, lol!
