Yet another new stamp set that needed some play is the gorgeous Painted Petals set. I have such an addiction to botanical sets - I've been trying to slow down on them, but this one was a MUST! The stamps have a nifty watercolor effect, which I of course negated by heat -embossing, lol. You can sort of see the intended effect on the envelope, I guess!
Anyway, I had some fun playing with the blue and gold on this one, and keeping it fairly clean. This card is so growing on me! There's a "thank you" on the inside...
Tip: I think I've finally hit on a way to better manage the gold sequin trim! Glue dots! Firmly affix them to the back of the first and last sequin, making sure to catch the sequin itself and the thread, and it all stays together. Another neat side effect is that when you have the ends attached to the card, you can "wiggle the middle" wherever you want, lol! Give it a go!
