Fun - The Flower Challenge #87 would like us to use gold this round! Rather than trying to do my card in all gold this time, I decided to go for gold details - so striking against so many flower colors! Since we're still in the Christmas zone, too, I pulled out my beloved Reason for the Season set from 2015 - I love these fonts so much! I chose a lovely Shaded Spruce DSP sheet for my background from the Joy of Christmas pack, and got to work. Random gold poinsettia details over the DSP got me started, and then I colored one on white with my Water Painter and fussy cut it for a feature. I heat embossed this beautiful sentiment and did some doctoring with my old Stitched Nested Labels dies - I never did use these enough, lol. Some tiny Gold Pearls complete my details - love it! Reason for the Season Stamp Set (retired 2015); Joy of Christmas DSP; Basic White & Pecan Pie CS; Versamark, Real Red, Shaded Spruce & Crushed Curry Inks; Gold EP; Water Painter; Stitched Nested Labels Dies (retired; Gold Metallic Pearls; #TFC87.

Beautiful colors, and they look great with the gold accents! Poinsettias in pink are my favorites. Thanks for joining us at the FLower Challenge, Heather!
