Today's fun sketch is from Paper Players #346 - very stylish! I'm going to add in the Less Is More #330 "shimmer" challenge, too! So, this card ended up being QUITE the journey for me today, lol. I was paralyzed - no lie! I went from a typewriter, to flowers, and finally settled on the balloons. I sponged my background to limit my layers, and added shimmer with silver-embossed clouds, a strip of glimmer paper, and three lonely sequins. {SOB} Just kidding. I tried to aqua-paint some colorful balloons, too, and they just didn't want to fly, sigh. I finally went on this Pool Party Smoky Slate combo and called it good. Time to walk away, lol! Fabulous card, Heather, and great design ! Love how you combined the two challenges ! Some days are easier than the others but patience always pays and the result is beautiful ! Love this colour combo of pool and grey with the silver accents. The blended background panel really ties everything together. Isn't it funny how some cards just happen and others have us working forever! Well, it was worth the effort, it's lovely.
