I like this bold sketch at this week's Create With Connie & Mary #413! And even though I'm a little late, I'm adding in As You See It #138's red & white theme for Canada Day! So, yeah, after I got going, I couldn't really help myself. I thought, well, you haven't really used your Vintage Leaves lately anyway, and it fits the sketch, so what the heck! I think I've been looking over all my Canadian stampin' friends' blogs too much this week, lol. So, "Oh, Canada..." it is! This one's for you, Brenda Q! Vintage Leaves Stamp Set; Real Red & Whisper White CS; Real Red Ink; Blending Pen; Leaflets Framelits; Greetings Thinlets (retired); Large Polka Dots EF; Red Sequins. Christmas in July Class July 14 & 16! Ah, it's that most wonderful time of year again - Christmas in July 2016 is upon us! Yay! Are you sure you're not Canadian?! Such a wonderfully Canadian themed card! Love the simplicity of the stripes. They're a perfect backdrop for the leaf. Thanks so much for joining us at As You See It.

What a great combination of the two challenges and I LOVE the use of the vintage leaves maple for your 'Canada' theme. How striking! Thanks for playing along this week in the Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.

This looks just like a Canadian flag, Heather. You did us proud! I like the way you've pulled the ink from the outline of the stamped leaf into the middle, you get such great shading that way! Thanks for sharing it with us at As You See It Challenges!
