This week, I decided to try something inspired by a really cute pic I saw by Rachel Tessman of Stamp Your Art Out. I'm still on a green kick, and somehow I'm finding I have a TON of the holly stems left in my kits still. How to use up a bunch of extras in one go? Make a tree! I snipped off an entire sheet of holly leaves, added a bit of curl with my bone folder, and tacked them down in rows in a tree shape. I added some pearls and an Iced Rhinestone for the topper, and then, bwahaha, I found a little stash of Fantast/x Champagne Mist Ink (remember that stuff, anyone?) that I brushed all over. (I also used it to stencil some holly on the envelope.) It's so funny, I did side-by-side samples with my new Wink of Stella pens, and they are almost identical! I opted for the ink on this card so I could both use it up, and get more coverage with a dauber, but I can't wait to try my Wink of Stella next!
Don't forget to show off your work over at the blog - we can't wait to see!

Here's a little thumbnail taste of what we have in store for December's class! I don't know about you, but I am NOT ready to pack away my Season to Season Wreath we worked so hard on! So let's add More Seasons!
This class is for the creation of nine more mini banners to fill in the rest of the year on our Season to Season Wreath, or for use on any wreath base of your choice. And, they're pretty stinkin' cute, if I do say so myself! I've had SO much fun getting this ready for you! (And showing off some new goodies!)
Class is announced for Thursday, December 17 at 630 pm, or Saturday December 19 at 3 pm. All supplies provided, plus snacks, drinks and treats, all for $20! Just bring along your favorite adhesive and some paper snips. Let's close this year with a crafting bang! RSVP now to reserve your spot! (As always, if you need a different time, just let me know and we'll find something that works for you!) See you soon!
