One of the things I like to do at the end of my big hurrah of Christmas card season is play around with all my scraps. I always figure I have to make room for the new papers coming my way! This year, I seemed to have LOTS of 1" strips in my scraps, and I remembered a project I did for our wedding 23 years ago. I had found a kit for these paper stars by Martha Stewart - yes, before my SU! days, lol. I made a zillion of them in all sizes and we hung them on a pretty tree the florist made for the reception. ANYWAY, could I figure out how to make them again? Could I make them BIGGER? Of course I could! Turns out they're called Moravian Stars, and I found a great little tutorial here that refreshed my memory. I think I'm already making next year's neighborhood gifts - and having so much fun doing it! Such a cool look with our two-sided DSP! Some I'll hang in singles, but I'm thinking about making some chains of smaller ones, too!
