Eee! As You See It #230 is back with another speed round, with the added theme of "elements of three!" Woop woop! One of my all-time fave occurrences is when a new order arrives just when I'm getting ready to tackle a card challenge - I can never resist diving in with a brand new set! Today I pulled out the upcoming Love of Leaves set, and thought, hm, we could do three leaves! That was all she wrote, lol. I assembled my supplies, got the stamp set ready, and started the clock! I decided to go with Vanilla for my neutral today - I really haven't been using it much, but I thought it'd be great to add an even softer touch to my leaves. I quick cranked a couple layers with my Rectangle Stitched Dies, and then had to revise my leaf plan to a smaller leaf so they would all fit, lol. Quick stamping, then running through the Big Shot AGAIN to add the leaf details. Assemble the layers, add the twine, throw on some Gold Glitter Dots, pop dot to card base - DONE! 6 minutes, 22 seconds. Whew! Love of Leaves Stamp Set; Very Vanilla & Crumb Cake CS; Pear Pizzazz & Soft Suede Inks; Stitched Leaves & Rectangle Stitched Dies; Linen Thread; Gold Glitter Dots; #AYSI230.

A speed stamping triumph Heather - I love the stitched detailing on your trio of leaves, which co-ordinates beautifully with the frame. Bravo! Thanks for sharing with us over at As You See It this week!

I agree with Joanne - a speed triumph. The stitched detailing and twine bow make it seem that you have lavished much more time than 6 minutes on this creation. Thank you for joining us again at AYSI, Heather.

I love that you used Vanilla, I have started using it a bit more too! So happy to see this pretty new set being highlighted! Great way to incorporate "three" for our speed challenge this week at As You See It!

Wow! Great time on this, Heather! We used to have a saying:"Leaves of three, let them be!" but that was a warning for poison ivy! Your card is so much nicer than that! I love the look of the frame you've created with the layering you've done! Thanks for pumping up your adrenaline with us at As You See It Challenges!
