Oooo, I'm super excited about Less Is More #420's challenge this week - a one layer card that's all about the dots! Nifty! I think when I'm doing one layer cards, I almost always run straight to layered masking. And it just so happens that dots have always been my favorite design element, I just find them so cheery! So when I spotted this adorable sentiment in my new Lovely You set, I knew I just HAD to use it! I stamped my sentiment, and covered it with circular mask punched from a sticky note. From there, I added two more circle punch sizes to make up my "dots," and each size got its own color! I used my sponge daubers to get this translucent effect - I think they're like happy bubbles fizzing off the card! Lovely You Stamp Set; Whisper White CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Soft Sea Foam, So Saffron & Pool Party Inks; 1 1/2", 1" & 5/8" Circle Punches; Sponge Daubers; #LIM420.

So much fun! We can all use such light-heartedness. It's also a great way to use up scraps!!
