Just Add Sunshine

Here's a fun and pretty sketch from Just Add Ink #271 - and I'm matching it today with the bright color challenge from Create With Connie and Mary #364!
Turned out this combo was definitely harder than I thought it would be - I finally went with this pair of DSPs from two different sets, because I was DETERMINED to use Ray of Sunshine for this one, lol!  I'm trying to decide if I've committed a huge crime by using Very Vanilla prints with a Whisper White card base and other elements, but, well, I had already stamped out that sun and there was just no turning back, lol...  Has that ever happened to you?
Ray of Sunshine Stamp Set; Sweet L'il Things & Pretty Petals DSP; Heavy & Regular Whisper White, and Crushed Curry CS; Crushed Curry, Watermelon Wonder & Memento Tuxedo Black Inks & Markers; Banner Triple, 1 1/4" & 1 3/8" Square Punches; Lucky Stars Embossing Folder; Dotted Lace Trim in Watermelon Wonder.

Great card, Heather! My eye was immediately drawn to the beautiful bright, bold element .. I wouldn't even have noticed that the papers had Vanilla on them, when your card base is white. No crime committed! Thanks for joining in the fun at Just Add Ink this week. :)

This is so bright and cheery, Heather! Love the bright colours and was drawing immediately to that beautiful bright sun (maybe because its winter where I'm from and wishing it was summer :) ). Fantastic use of the sketch and I love the DSP and the use of the Dotted Lace Trim. Thanks for joining us this week at Just Add ink. Rochelle xo

What a great stamp set to use for our challenge this week - that sun looks fabulous in these colours! I love your multi-coloured sentiment and your choice of papers (I would never have noticed they were vanilla unless you'd pointed it out - they look fine!) Thanks for joining us over at Create With Connie and Mary this week!
