Just Add Easter

Look at that tag shape front and center at this week's Just Add Ink #256!  Turning this into an Easter creation for In{k}spire Me #191 seems a perfect fit!
I've run straight to a pretty literal interpretation of this sketch - it's just so perfect right how it is!  I did substitute a retired doily shape, just for a tiny bit more visual interest, but that's about it.  I got to indulge exactly what I wanted to do with this:  bring in the lovely Indescribable Gift Stamp Set; and use the accompanying sentiment front and center!  So far, I've somehow only really had space to use the other two smaller sentiments in this set...  Love this!
Hint:  I achieved a slightly wider tag using my tag topper punch by sliding in a wider strip over the top of the tag channel, then hand-trimming the extra width to match the topper shape.
Indescribable Gift Stamp Set; Crumb Cake, Pear Pizzazz & Whisper White CS; Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Pear Pizzazz, Crushed Curry & Calypso Coral Inks; Large Paper Doily Sizzlet (retired); Spring Flowers Embossing Folder; Scallop Tag Topper & Corner Rounder Punches; 1/4" Cotton Ribbon in Pear Pizzazz; Basic Jewel Jumbo Pearls (retired.)

This is beautiful, Heather!! I am a big fan of a Crumb Cake card base; it just works so well with any colour. LOVE the colours and your colouring. Thanks for joining in the fun at Just Add Ink this week. :)

Really lovely card, Heather. Love the colours you used & especially the colouring of your beautiful flowers. What a clever idea to make the tag wider too - works really well. Thanks for playing again at Just Add Ink.

You've coloured in those blooms so perfectly! I really adore the soft subtle detail you've embossed into the background too.
