
I've been eyeing my Build a Birthday stamp set for a couple weeks now. It's been so all-halloween-all-the-time around here, I really wanted to get away from that for a bit, lol. A birthday card just fits that bill! I was worried that a full-size cake stand might be a bit too big for this sketch, so I did some trimming: I snipped off the two end scallops on the cake stand, and then shortened my cake layers accordingly. Pretty cool trick if I do say so myself! I also snuck in a piece of my Pretty Petals stack - yes I know, it's Very Vanilla on a Whisper White base, but I figure it's ok if I don't make a habit of it, lol...
