Oh yeah - check out the hexagons in this week's Just Add Ink #249 sketch! This is SO perfect for me - I really need help using my Hexagon Punch more! Rather than stamping the hexagon shapes, I decided to break into my gorgeous pack of Painted Blooms DSP. I figure if I have a bunch of sheets that have a big ole hex punched out of them, I'll go back and use it more, rather than hoarding it, lol... I can only hope! I pretty much did a straight interpretation of the sketch, but played with the brayer a little on my background, too. Think I need more work with that tool! Painted Petals Stamp Set; Painted Blooms DSP; Whisper White & Wild Wasabi CS; Daffodil Delight & Wild Wasabi Inks; Hexagon, 1 1/4" & 1 3/8" Circle Punches; Spring Flowers Embossing Folder; Basic Jewels Jumbo Rhinestone (retired.) Birthday Card Class Feb 12 or 14! Yay! We made the Perpetual Birthday Calendar, now it's time for the cards to go with! This month's class will feature six different simple and quick birthday cards for everyone on your list - and they'll be sure to impress your recipients, too! (Here's a quick look at three of them to get you excited!) We'll be getting a closer look at more of the lovely options in our Spring Catalog - I can't wait for you to try all the new toys! Class is announced for Thursday, February 12 at 630 pm, or Saturday, February 14 at 330 pm, and as always, will feature a gift, snacks and drinks! RSVP now for your spot today!

Heather, this is a beautiful way to showcase that gorgeous DSP! I, too, need a bit of an 'intervention' with my hexagon punch - it is sorely neglected. Thanks for joining in the fun at Just Add Ink this week. :)

Beautifully done Heather! Loving that brayered/embossed background, it's so pretty and delicate. Thanks so much for joining us at Just Add Ink this week and apologies for Linky issues..:0)

Heather this is lovely! Would you believe I made a little template, punched my hexys out of this gorgeous dsp packet and then discarded? Mine just didn't come together as well as yours. Glad you could show us your card despite the linky tool not working for a short time. Thanks for joining the challenge fun at Just Add Ink again. x
