Another fascinating technique is coming to us from Back to Basics #17 - stamp and color on vellum! I have just the idea for it, too, lol... The very first I thought of was pulling out my beloved Gentle Peace set from back in 2014. I think it was a special holiday release when SU! first started dabbling in photopolymer. It's just so gorgeous! I knew I wanted to try coloring in the awesome central image on vellum, like a real stained-glass window! So I heat embossed the image, and did all my coloring on the back with my Blends Markers. To construct my window, I traced the wrong side of the stamp to create a slightly larger opening, and hand-cut. I tacked the vellum to the back around the edges, then pop-dotted the whole thing! I'm enchanted with how it turned out! Gentle Peace Stamp Set (retired 2014); Whisper White, Vellum & Smoky Slate CS; Versamark & Memento Tuxedo Black Inks; Black EP; Cherry Cobbler, Night of Navy, Ivory, Mango Melody, Old Olive, Pool Party, Crumb Cake & Mocha Blends Markers; Basic Jewel Rhinestones; #BBB17. Big Plans Planner Kit Class Dec 13 & 15! So excited that we finally get to put together our planners for 2019! The new Big Plans kit is gorgeous and easy to use, and has so many awesome new features over last year's - I know you're going to love it! For class, we will assemble our planner kits together, and then make a set of 10 notecards and envelopes to go with from the coordinating Big Plans Memories & More Card Pack - woo! There are two pricing options here: if you need the planner kit, your class is $40, and includes the full planner kit along with everything you need to make your 10 notecards (plus extra supplies!) If you have your own kit to bring, class is $15 for the notecard supplies. If you are only making the cards, the class can also be FREE with your order of $20 or more. Class is announced for Thursday, December 13 at 6 pm, or, Saturday December 15, at 3 pm, and includes drinks, snacks and a special gift from me for BOTH class options! RSVP today to save your spot - and see you there!
