Oo, Retro Rubber #63 has a cool color challenge for us this week! I think I'll try them on Freshly Made Sketch #289! You know, one of my fave experiences with playing at Retro Rubber is that it gets me into the Room of Retirement for a browse, and a chance to look at my beloved retirees with new eyes, to see them in use again in fresh and current ways. It really is a good feeling! Today's lucky winner for a trip out was Here, Kitty Kitty, a sweet cat set from 2007, that I got for making things for my cat-crazy daughter. Yay! She was excited to see this cutie again, too! Here, Kitty Kitty Stamp Set (retired); Whisper White, Lemon Lime Twist, Smoky Slate, Wisteria Wonder & Pool Party CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Smoky Slate, Wisteria Wonder, Lemon Lime Twist & Pool Party Inks; 1" Circle Punch; Layering Circles Framelits; Wisteria Wonder Candy Dots (retired); #RR63; #FMS289.

I love that you have a Room of Retirement - it sounds like it belongs in a Harry Potter novel! I also really like this set and the subtle way you've used these colours. The way the cat is leaping towards the clockwork mouse makes me smile. Thanks for joining us at Retro Rubber again, Heather.

Room of Retirement is a genius turn of phrase that I am 'borrowing'. Love your card, that stamp set is gorgeous. I like how you have framed all the elements. Thanks for playing along with us this time at Retro Rubber. Claire DT

One of the best reasons that attracted me to the RETRO RUBBER challenge a few years ago was exactly what you said, the chance to use my beloved older and cherished stamp sets, of which I have plenty. I just adore this card, love how you took the colors of our challenge to create this whimsical and adorable card that I'm sure your cat crazy daughter will just love.

Too cute! As a huge cat lover, I should have gotten this stamp set but just wasn't hooked at that point yet. I love how you used the color challenge to make this adorable card. Thanks for playing with us at Retro Rubber. I always love seeing your cards in our gallery.
