Friday Kiss

I'm so glad we have a color challenge this week at Fab Friday #65 - it gives me more chances to experiment with my "kissing" technique, lol...
No, that doesn't mean what you THINK it means - it's a bona fide stampin' technique, I promise!  The idea is, you ink up a fairly solid or filled image with one color, and then either "kiss off" some of the ink with a patterned stamp, or "kiss  on" the pattern in a darker ink.  I have to admit, it doesn't sound very mannerly when I put it like that, snicker.
For today's card, I inked up my sentiment "bubble" with Hello Honey, and stamped on a pattern in both Marina Mist and Night of Navy.  Then I did the center one with just Marina Mist and Night of Navy.  I think that one came out best...  A quick zig-zaggy background, and I was set!
