Another lovely sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #241! Let's try it with Watercooler Wednesday #72's 2016 In Color Challenge! We had so much fun at my recent "Let's Get Messy" class, that I decided to try out some other patterns in my old Irresistibly Yours DSP - I think I might have to break down and get the current papers, Irresistibly Floral! Our new sponge brayers are a dream, too - rinse right out for repeated use! Anyway, after making my leafy background, I made a few flowers to scatter around - I'm pretty pleased with the result! I think of these colors as actually made to go with all our OTHER colors, not each other so much, but it can definitely be made to work! Petite Petals & Scenic Sayings Stamp Sets; Irresistibly Yours DSP (retired); Botanical Gardens Vellum (retired); Whisper White CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Emerald Envy, Dapper Denim, Peekaboo Peach, Sweet Sugarplum & Flirty Flamingo Inks; Petite Petals Punch. What a great card, Heather. I like the way you've combined the challenges. Those colours really work beautifully together and adding your blossoms to the leafy background really works. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.

I love the resist papers, Heather - and this looks lovely with the new In Colours! I really think greens should be a 'neutral' - they're everywhere in nature. Good to read that you like using the new sponge brayers, too - they're on my list to get. Thanks for joining the Watercooler Wednesday challenge. ~Deborah
