What a fun layered sketch from Try Stampin' on Tuesday #356 this week! And I think I can even get in the secondary challenge of polka dots with my combo with Retro Rubber #80's dotty challenge, too! Love it! I had fun browsing my retired shelves for some likely dots, I have to admit. I had a little stack going, til I got down to my most-beloved Best of Cluck set, and realized that the little chicken feed stamp could qualify as dots - game over! I stamped the card base around the edges with it (subtle, that's me, lol) and then laid on some dotty DSP scraps I dug out as well, which totally directed my chicken colors. It's a GOOD day when the chickens can come out - hooray!! Best of Cluck Stamp Set (retired-2008); Cherry on Top & 2010-13 DSP Stacks in Always Artichoke & Real Red (all Retired); Whisper White CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Real Red, Daffodil Delight & Always Artichoke Markers; White Gel Pen; Daffodil Delight Enamel Shapes; #TSOT356; #RR80. Wow - you've got a real dotty extravaganza going here, Heather! Your chicken is just adorable - great paper piecing and, I'm guessing, fussy cutting to create her. Thanks for joining us at Retro Rubber Challenge again. It's always a pleasure to see what you do.
