Such an elegant sketch Hand Stamped Sentiments #371 has for us this week! As soon as I saw this sketch, I knew I wanted to do the spotlight technique, and that I wanted to do it with Delicate Dahlias - what a chance! In the end, it took me three tries to get to this final card, mainly because at first I tried to make the spotlight portion NOT have the line art. It was just too indistinct, sigh, but on the other hand, I'm SO happy with this result in the end! I even got to feature my fave color combo of purple and green, lol. Can't go wrong there! Interesting take on the spotlight technique with the colored background. Very pretty. Thanks for playing with us at HSS.
