Create a Cup of Soup

Today I'm playing with this week's color challenge from Create With Connie and Mary #362, too - a touch of patriotic!
A stamp set I've been itching to play with gets to finally come out today - Get Well Soup.  I really like the way the sentiment is a swirly part of the image, and the image leaves some room for some creative fussy cutting for playing with dimension - yay!
Oh shoot, you know what?  I just realized that I used Tip Top Taupe instead of Crumb Cake - oops!  Oh well - still yummy!  The only OTHER difficulty I had was what to do with the envelope - I just can't abide a naked envie, lol.  I finally dug out my old Morning Cup stamp set, that has a mug that goes with this set pretty well...
Get Well Soup & Morning Cup (retired-on envelope) Stamp Sets; Lost Lagoon, Real Red, Whisper White & Tip Top Taupe CS; Basic Black, Lost Lagoon, Real Red & Tip Top Taupe Inks; Corner Rounder Punch.

Christmas in July Class!
It's the most wonderful time of the year!  Yay!  OK, can you tell how excited I am that we got Christmas back in the "Big Book?"  The very best thing this means is that we get to bring back our Christmas in July class - your chance to start thinking about your Christmas cards!  Check out our little sneak peak!
Class is announced for Thursday, July 9, at 6:30 pm, and Saturday, July 11 at 3 pm.  Class will feature 6 cards for $25, and includes all your supplies, snacks and drinks, and a party favor from me!  RSVP today to save your spot, or let me know if you'd like to have a make-up class if these times don't suit!

This is a perfect stamp for these colors, and I think Tip Top Taupe is close enough to give us the idea! I love how you have highlighted the swirls - really cute look overall! Thank you for joining us at Create with Connie and Mary!

These colors work so well with this stamp set! Love the highlighted swirls and I never would have noticed the Taupe vs. Crumb Cake :) Thanks for joining us this week at Create with Connie and Mary.

What a great card - I love your bold blocks of colour and the delicate colouring around the swirls and sentiment to highlight and give a sense of movement. Thanks for joining us over at Create With Connie and Mary this week!

Hi Anna - This stamp is now retired, you might try eBay - or a general online search. Good luck!
