I love the central layering at this week's Create With Connie & Mary #425! I think this will be a great sketch to sneak in TGIF #74's "stitching" challenge, too! OK, confession time. Shh. I have NEVER sewn on a card with my sewing machine. {GASP}, you say? Yes, it's true. I MIGHT be known historically as a bit rabid in defense of my sewing machine, lol, as I used to do a lot of historical reenactment, and made some pretty elaborate reproductions. Yes, I also have a pair of Gingham Fabric Shears that live in a locked box away from grabby irreverent hands, too. And yes, I have a mini machine on my Amazon wishlist that will be JUST for stitching on paper. But, for today, SOMEONE used my machine to sew up a rip in their golf bag, so I had a worn-out needle all ready to go, lol. It was like fate... Good times... Love your sweet little eskimo and the choices of color you chose for him. The stitching you added onto the card (don't worry, I haven't machine stitched before either on a card) ties in wonderfully with the overall look of your card. Thanks so much for sharing your creativity with us at Create with Connie & Mary!
