It's taken me all morning to dig out my desk, and do my first pass at de-Yuling the house, sob, I'm putting the tree off for tomorrow. That said, I'm still freaked out by my empty Christmas card box, so I've decided to give a new sketch challenge a whirl - I've been watching Merry Monday for quite a while now, and I think it's a FABULOUS idea! Should have my box filled back in two shakes!
So this week, I combined TWO sketches, my long-waiting Clean & Simple #273, and Merry Monday #90 (use ribbon or twine.) Fun stuff! I thought of this neat trick with the yummy silver ribbon all by myself, too, adding the twists for some extra detail. It made it so I had to double-dimensional the snowflakes, though... Can't wait to try this on a more open field, so you can really see the effect! Bet it would work great with all our 1/8" ribbons!
