Aw, check out these adorable cookies at If You Give a Crafter a Cookie #199! "Don't stop believin'" is our closing theme of the year! I couldn't wait to pull out my old Santa's List set from 2013 for this one - he's my most classic Santa! And he goes great with this perfect sentiment from 2020's Christmas Means More, too - can't you just hear Natalie Wood's little voice? I can, lol. One of our favorites! Anyway, these two sets are just right for each, and say a lot about keepin' on believin'! It's extra fun with our bright Take a Bow DSP, and a few Peppermint Dots! So fun - the latest Cupcake Inspirations #608 would like us to add a bow or ribbon! I couldn't resist dipping back into my ephemera stash for this one - I have so much left even after classes and tags! I have this one big sentiment that I've been dying to use - just makes me think of winter wonderland scenes, and blessed nights! So, I naturally paired it with my retired-but-still-adored O Holy Night DSP - so many great things to do with all the starry sheets! I added a tiny 1/8" Silver Ribbon for my bow, and finished with a few Silver Glitter Sequins. Simple and glorious! Joyful Sayings Ephemera; O Holy Night DSP (retired); Basic White & Copper Clay CS; 1/8" Silver Ribbon; Silver Glitter Sequins (retired); #CIC608. No Pumpkin Club in December! Time Out Challenge #278 has such a fun inspo pic for us this round! So many fun little elements on this one, I decided to make another delve into my stash of die-cut goodies in the A Little Bit Festive Specialty DSP pack - I've barely made a dent! I came across this lovely holly wreath, and there IS a wreath on the inspo pic, lol. Sold! I do love the few paper pattern in there also, so I floated it over this graphic Real Red background. I popped on the pretty box, too, and then pulled this gold "joy" from the Joyful Sayings Ephemera pack - no stamping at all! It feels like cheating big time, lol, but such pretty results! I finished with a few gold Festive Pearls for a few final points of light! Joyful Sayings Ephemera Pack; A Little Bit Festive Specialty DSP; Festive Pearls; #TOC278. Yay! The next installment of In{k}spire Me #549 is up and running - it's called "O Christmas Tree!" My first job was to go identify likely trees - a tall task! In the end, I remembered that I have LOTS of pretty trees in my A Little Bit Festive Specialty DSP pack, and plenty more in all my holiday ephemera packs! Let's dig through those! I was thrilled to find this beauty, that totally matches a gorgeous tag in the Tags For The Season Ephemera pack - let's hear it for dimension! I quickly assembled my pretty tag, tying it off with some old Cherry Cobbler Metallic Ribbon I had still. Then I realized that the decorated tree branches sheet from the Festive DSP pack would be the perfect background! I couldn't resist popping on this fancy star, too! This little sentiment from Sophisticated Sled fit just right on my tag, too - so pretty! Sophisticated Sled Stamp Set; A Little Bit Festive DSP; Joyful Images & Tags For The Season Ephemera Packs; Very Vanilla & Cherry Cobbler CS; Cherry Cobbler Ink; Festive Pearls; Cherry Cobbler Metallic Ribbon (retired); #IMC549. Oo, I LOVE Festive Friday #174's 12 Days of Christmas inspo! One of my fave holiday themes! I went pretty slim on my pickins' from the inspo list this time - it's been on my mind to try some of the two step stamping in Golden Greenery in some fun non-traditional colors - like pink and blue, lol. I started by making a pine background in Bubble Bath paired with Melon Mambo, and then I did a couple leafy sprigs in Balmy Blue and Lost Lagoon! I'm really liking how they came out. I heat embossed my sentiment in Silver onto a Bubble Bath tag, did a couple Silver bells to go with, and finished with some Silver Shimmer Gems. I think I nabbed the first four items on the list with this! Such fun colors to play with! Golden Greenery & Greetings of the Season Stamp Sets; Basic White & Bubble Bath CS; Bubble Bath, Melon Mambo, Balmy Blue, Lost Lagoon & Versamark Inks; Silver EP; Golden Greenery & Greetings of the Season Dies; Silver Cording Trim; Silver Shimmer Gems; #FF0174. Oh this is a good one! Shopping Our Stash #536 would like to see "winter but not Christmas" cards! Fun! So the other day when I had my old Storybook Gnomes DSP pack out, I was considering another sheet that was a gorgeous Winter scene - I think I decided it didn't feature snowflakes enough, but I thought it would be perfect for today's card! I also remembered that there were a bunch of already fussy cut critters - another score! I pulled my Winter sentiment from my retired Above It All set, and in THOSE dies, I found the snowbank and some sparkly trees already cut, too. I even had the extra rectangle already in that die sleeve, lol. This whole card was pretty much diecut findings, lol, I've never had it work out quite that well before... And how cute are these moose?? Above It All Stamp Set (retired 2023); Storybook Gnomes DSP (retired); Basic White, White Glimmer & Early Espresso CS; Night of Navy Ink; Deckled Rectangle & Above It All (retired) Dies; White Loose Snowflakes; #SOS536. Check out our glorious holiday mood board for our last challenge of the year at Hand Stamped Sentiments #453! I totally had to go with that cute gingerbread house at the bottom left - it goes so well with all the Food Network baking shows I watch this time of year, too, lol. Anyway, our Humble Home bundle was just the ticket for this! I heat embossed in white onto Early Espresso and Pecan Pie, set up a little landscape, then finished with Puff Paint snow and some Peppermint Dots - I can't get enough of these cuties! I love how festive they are! I can't wait to see YOUR holiday beauties for this one, what caught your eye? I'll meet you at the challenge! Humble Home Stamp Set; Take a Bow DSP; Basic White, Early Espresso & Pecan Pie CS; Versamark, Early Espresso & Real Red Inks; White EP; Snowfall Accents Puff Paint; Humble Home Builder Punch; Nested Essentials Dies; Real Red & White Peppermints; #HSS453. This will be a fun one - Inspire Create Challenge #182 would like to see a Christmas Anything But a Card! One of the things we do in my neighborhood is share little treat gifts for the holidays - so super yummy! Cookies, candies, brewing spices - we get a little bit of everything, lol. I myself make a Christmas Toffee that folks are always anxious to get a share of! I make SO MUCH of this stuff for giving, I almost never eat it myself anymore, lol. Anyway, this year's treats will go out packed in these cafe bags, with tags I popped together using our Holiday Ephemera packs - so many fun combinations - such cute images, and even TAGS! It was fun to crank out a bunch of these, and even enlist hubs to pitch in, lol. Time for the yum! Cafe Bags (from Webstaurant.com); Tags For the Season, Joyful Sayings & Joyful Images Ephemera Packs; Peppermint Dots & Cherry Cobbler Berries; #ICC182. Yay! It's time to kick off In{k}spire Me #548 - for a month of holiday specials! So fun! First up - "let it snow!" I knew I wanted to pull in my Sophisticated Sled bundle for this one - what better way to play in the snow?! I dug through my paper stash, and came up with this lovely snowy sheet from my old Storybook Gnomes DSP pack - so many blues! Inspired by those, I did up a blue wreath to hang on my awesome sled, with, of course, the perfect sentiment, lol. I finished with a few Pacific Point Fine Sparkle Gems that I keep in this retired pack of paper, too - they came out at the same time, as I recall! Sophisticated Sled Stamp Set; Storybook Gnomes DSP (retired); Basic White & Pecan Pie CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Pacific Point (retired) Inks; Pecan Pie, Crumb Cake, Azure Afternoon, Tahitian Tide (retired), Balmy Blue & Blueberry Bushel Blends Markers; Sophisticated Sled Dies; Small Oval Punch; Flowers For Every Season Twine (retired); Pacific Point Fine Sparkle Gems (retired); #IMC548. Ah ha - so excited to play at this round of AAA Cards #279 - with a twist of Christmas or Winter! I too a browse through my retired shelves for this - how CAS can I go today? Turns, pretty darn CAS for me, lol. When I spotted my Dove of Hope bundle, I knew that would be perfect for a white-on-white scheme, with just the tiniest specks of color on the details. I even finished with a few Clear Pearl Berries! And I have to admit, I'm pretty smitten with how this came out! Dove of Hope Stamp Set (retired 2020); Basic White CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow & Smoky Slate Blends Markers; Detailed Dove Dies (retired); Pearl Berries; #AAA279. |
