Now, I don't usually do "anything goes" challenges - guess I like some direction, lol. But I have so much fun with this challenge, I decided to give Retro Rubber #76 a go this week! Time to dig deep! I'll use Freshly Made Sketch #314 to help me along! Now that we're through Thanksgiving, I can't help but have Christmas on the mind! As I went digging, I came across this little "Beauty of the Season," that reminds me of winters back in Virginia - there's nothing like a bold cardinal boy against the snow! I pulled in one of my fave sentiments from Tin of Tags to go with - let's all dream, friends, of walkin' in a winter wonderland! Beauty of the Season (2014) & Tin of Tags (2016) Stamp Sets (both retired); Quilted Christmas DSP; Whisper White, Crumb Cake & Cherry Cobbler; Champagne Glimmer Paper; Memento Tuxedo Black & Cherry Cobbler Inks; Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake & Daffodil Delight Blends; Stitched Shapes Framelits; Woodland EF; Gold Sequins; #RR76; #FMS314.

Heather, this card is gorgeous! I never got this cardinal and you make me wish I did. Your details are perfect for this stamp and make him the perfect focal point for the card. Thank you for playing with us at Retro Rubber and hope you will be back in our gallery again soon.

It's funny, but I'm not a fan of Anything Goes either but I'm so glad you did join in because that bird is just delightful! Your card is so bright and cheerful. Thanks so much for joining us at Retro Rubber again this week.

So glad that you decided to break your 'rule' and join us, this card is awesome, I love the Cardinal (I saw a real one for the first time ever this year) and the clever layering to fit the sketch. I am also a sucker for an embossed background.. Thanks for joining us this time at Retro Rubber. Claire DT
