Another super cute sketch from this week's Try Stampin' on Tuesday #308! I'm combining it with this bright color challenge from Global Design Project #73! I decided that today I wanted to play with my Inside the Lines DSP, a paper designed for coloring available in the Sale-A-Bration catalog. What would it be like to color with markers? I built up all my pieces for the sketch from various DSP scraps, and then got down to the coloring. I chose this pattern because I thought I could see all three challenge colors in it - bumblebee, flowers, leaves. Yay, coloring! BUT, well, I'm sorry to say I'm not totally in love with my final results, lol. It's ok, it just doesn't grab me, I guess. But this is my warts-and-all personal blog, so you still get to see it. What would you have tweaked? Me = Grateful Stamp Set; Inside the Lines, Carried Away & Ancient Daffodil Delight Scrap DSP; Whisper White, Emerald Envy, Daffodil Delight & Watermelon Wonder CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Daffodil Delight, Emerald Envy & Watermelon Wonder Markers; 1/4" Daffodil Delight Grosgrain (retired); Emerald Envy Enamel Shapes; #TSOT308; #GDP73. This DSP was just made for colour challenges, wasn't it? Lovely card. Thanks for playing at Global Design Project this week and good luck for the Guest Artist pick!
