Blendies Will Return! (& Hello Life Kit Class!)

Here's a fun sketch at this week's Retro Sketch #155 - love this large focal shape running off the edge!
I knew I wanted to give that "off the edge" element a try, so the first thing I did was cut my card base down to 7 1/2" x 5 1/2", and scored across the short side at 3 3/4".  This would give me 1/2" of space to run off the top edge, and still fit in a regular envelope.  All that worked out, I went hunting for my image.  I settled on Blended Bloom, and, well, got out my most recent blendies.  I feel a little bad about it, because I know that SU! has turned off ordering for these while they complete investigation of some quality issues even more recently uncovered.  This thought reminded me how blessed I myself have been to not have had any of these issues, so I next went to Banner Blessings for my sentiment, lol.  See how my mind works?  So for everyone still chomping at the bit over blendies, remember the thought celebrated on today's card, hee hee, and recognize SU!'s love for us in turn, while they work on making our experience a better one all 'round.  Hang in there, dear ones!  It might take a while, but I feel sure that Blendies Will Return!

Hello Life Kit Class March 12 or 14!
OK, yes, I KNOW that isn't a picture of our awesome upcoming class project made with the Hello Life Project Kit!  See, I had a late brainstorm, and started, and then changed tracks again - we're making a St. Patrick's version for our first go!  I'm just finishing up a few tiny details, and will have a gorgeous picture for you very soon!  I promise it's totally cute!
So, class is announced for Thursday March 12, 630 pm, chez Heroldt, and Saturday, March 14, 3 pm, also chez Heroldt.  AND, because this is Spring Break week for so many of us with school-agers at home, please do just let me know if we can arrange a make-up class for you if you're interested - it is of course no problem!
Class is $25, and includes your kit plus all supplies and specialty adhesives - just bring your usual stampin' kit to help out.  Snacks and drinks will be standing by, as well as a gift from me!  RSVP to reserve your kit today!
