Birthday Blossoms

Today I'm combining Create With Connie & Mary #371 with Just Add Ink #278 - these two seem made for each other this week!
Such a happy time making this bright and cheery card, and of course, always fun to get some coloring time in, lol.  I love our new blossom set, Birthday Blossoms.  The "sketchy" lines really appeal to me!  Really makes the aqua-painting look a bit more artful, too - sometimes I get a streaky look when I use them with the brighter colors...
Hint:  Don't forget to put a lighter panel inside for your message, when you use a darker card base like this!
Birthday Blossoms Stamp Set; Rich Razzleberry & Whisper White CS; Old Olive, Basic Black Archival, Rich Razzleberry, Tangerine Tango, Melon Mambo & Crushed Curry Inks; Lovely Lace Embossing Folder; Pansy & Banner Triple Punches; Old Olive Baker's Twine; Metallic Sequins in Silver.

Just beautiful, Heather. Birthday Blossoms is a firm favourite of mine, too - and you've used it beautifully on this card. Thanks for joining in the fun at Just Add Ink this week. :)

Such a beautiful card. The colouring and placement of the flowers stands out so well against the lacy background. Thanks for sharing.
