Maybe it's cheating a tiny bit, but I hedge my bets a little by getting all my stuff out and ready ahead of time. So I started by searching for a "belated" sentiment! I had to go to the shelves of retirement for Itty Bitty Birthdays to find this one, and since I wanted to combine it with something current, I pulled This Birthday Piggy to go with. My usual trick of letting the DSP do the talking made me pull out my Tea Boutique pack, and snag the Deckled Rectangles for the heavy lifting. I pulled my Blends ahead of time, too. Started the clock, ran to the cutting machine, layers done, whoops, forgot the sentiment, so I quick chopped it out of the center of the base layer, lol, then turned it sideways and nipped off the end to make it shorter. Back to the desk for coloring and assembly - how much time left? Enough to heat emboss the sentiment? It would look so much better! Going for it, aaaaaaand - DING DING DING! 9 minutes, 44 seconds. That was close!
I can't wait to see YOUR projects - meet you there, timer in hand!
