 Aw, the last sketch of the year at Freshly Made Sketch #217 sure is a cutie! I tried really hard to psych myself up for another Christmas card, but, you know, I have that little stack of new toys still calling out to me. Yes, I actually caved almost immediately, lol. I so adore this new set, Beautiful Ride! My first car was a '71 Super Beetle I got for $200, and my first task was to rebuild the heads with my Dad where one of the piston heads had snapped off and chewed a hole in its cylinder. Daddy-Daughter Day! It wasn't an awesome plum color like this one (more like an oxidized Garden Green that I spent a year's worth of rubbing compound on, yikes) but I still remember it fondly. Those were the days!
