We have the perfect fill-in-the-blank for you this round at As You See It #304 - who doesn't have SOMETHING they love about summer?? For me, what I love most about summer is the travel! The beach is good, or mountains, or theme parks - it's ALL good! Today I decided to break in my new Beach Bound set from Newton's Nook, which I acquired after winning a challenge at Time Out Challenges! What a great way to dabble in different sets! I remember heading out for holidays in my parents' stationwagon and with no air conditioning, it was about as hot as your surroundings look! LOL My dad considered himself a master packer, so everything was roped onto the top of the "woody" as they called the stationwagons with the wood panelling and nothing dared to fall off! You've totally captured the vibe with your choices for this card, Heather, and evoked a whole world of memories!

It feels like summer, just looking at those hot colours! Looking out at the winter gloom, it's a tonic to do so. :-) I think the inclusion of the twine and bow really makes this card pop.

Heather that scenery just screams summer in hot pink and orange and I love that fun car packed ready for fun at the beach! It brings back wonderful childhood memories for me too - I'll never know how we managed to fit so much into the car lol!

Wow. I just went back to childhood and the trips we took in our country squire station wagon. Eating sandwiches along side the road. Arguing over who had to sit in the middle. Good times. This card really says what we all want to do in the summer - vacation! Vibrant and lovely!
