Ahhh, it's Friday, so time for some fabulous!  We've got just the thing at this week's Fab Friday #214 - how about a look at all our new In Colors?
I really wanted to offer something stamped for this one - which was a bit tough because we have so many In colors goodies to play with this year - have you checked out the Shimmer Vellum??  Di-voon!  I decided to go with a "homemade DSP" look, and played with my trusty Lovely You set - look how great all the colors look TOGETHER!  I might have to pick one or two new flower sets from all our new offerings, to keep this trend going!
I can't wait to see YOU projects with the new colors - meet you at the challenge!
Lovely You Stamp Set; Basic White & Basic Black CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, Pale Papaya, Fresh Freesia & Polished Pink Inks; Double Oval Punch; In Color Jewels; #FabFri214.

Oh goody!  It feels like it's been ages since I've gotten to do a tic-tac-toe - so glad Retro Rubber #158 has one for us!
As usual, I scanned the squares first for a starting point.  Maybe because I'm hungry, the one that most jumped out at me was "cake," lol.  From there, it was an easy choice to go with the horizontal from there - cake, heat-embossing, flowers.  And I knew right away what set I wanted to use!  I have always loved this gorgeous cake in LAST year's Sale-a-Bration set, Happy Birthday to You, and we even eventually got some cool dies to play with as well - can we call that the icing on the cake?  Yes, we can!  I brought in some Purple Posy, since I'm just not ready to say goodby to that yet, either, heat embossed in gold, and colored everything up in some soft Blends.  I just love it!
Happy Birthday to You Stamp Set (retired 2020); Basic White & Purple Posy (retired) CS; Versamark & Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Gold EP; Purple Posy, Soft Sea Foam, So Saffron, Crumb Cake & Smoky Slate Blends Markers; Birthday Dies; Gold Glitter Enamel Dots; #RRCB158.

I really like this month's challenge at The Male Room #150 - a "water or beach" theme!  Perfect!
I couldn't help but turn back to my beloved Whale Done set, and of course, the gorgeous-but-now-retired DSP!  Seriously, I know I've said it before, but I think this is my all-time fave DSP ever, lol.  Anyway, I just HAD to let the paper do all the heavy lifting today!  I haven't used this sheet yet, and it seems so perfect for this fishy little sentiment, lol.  I kept it simple with one of our new Tailor Made Tag shapes, too - sometimes the simple is the best!
Whale Done Stamp Set; Whale of a Time DSP (retired); Basic White & Poppy Parade CS; Poppy Parade & Pacific Point Inks; Tailor Made Tags Dies; Poppy Parade Heavy Baker's Twine; #TMR150.

It's mix-it-up time at this week's Try Stampin' on Tuesday #507!  What a challenge!
I decided this sketch was perfect for including a split -window feature on my card front - so I can mix it up with BOTH sides of our challenge!  I am delighted to showcase one of our gorgeous new suites, too - Sweet As A Peach!  As soon as I saw it, I knew it had to be on my first order, lol - I LOVE peaches!  The DSP is so very pretty, too, with delicate watercolor peachy designs, as I highlighted with today's sheet.  Ah, my mouth is watering, lol.
I can't wait to see YOU mic it up with us this week - meet you at the challenge!
Sweet As A Peach Stamp Set; You're A Peach DSP; Basic White CS; Pear Pizzazz, Pale Papaya & Petal Pink Inks; Peach Dies; Window Sheet; #TSOT507.

Pretty!  Hand Stamped Sentiments #363 has some sweet colors for us this week!
I went hunting for a set I haven't used in a while, AND one that will be retiring at the end of our Spring Mini - Quite Curvy won the day!  I still haven't played much with the fancier edges in these dies - I just love this dotty curve too much!  To cover these fresh colors, I decided to go with some dotty DSPs to match that curve - I can never have enough polka dots, lol.  I layered everything up, added this curvy sentiment, and decided this sweet little birdy wanted to be singing it out, too, lol.  Simple and fun!
Quite Curvy Stamp Set; Flirty Flamingo, Bumblebee & Pool Party DSP; Basic White CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Pool Party Blend Marker; Curvy Dies; #HSS363.

We have some seriously groovy colors for you this week at Sunday Stamps #257!
I usually try to snag all the colors for our challenges, but today I had to tame it down to three.  I went with Magenta Madness, Misty Moonlight, and our brand new Pale Papaya.  How to make them work?  Let's make a background!  I took a go at using our lovely Blending Brushes, finally back in stock - what fun!  I definitely still need lots of practice with them, but they really do lay on the color in a soft and blend-able way!  I started with my two "darker' shades on the top and bottom, and then filled in the lighter color in the middle - I really like the look!  A quick stamp in black to add some imagery, and I am all set!  Lovely!
I can't wait to see what YOU make of our colors this week - meet you at the challenge!
Beautifully Braided Stamp Set (retired 2020); Basic White CS; Magenta Madness, Pale Papaya, Misty Moonlight & Memento Tuxedo Black Inks; Black Enamel Dots; #SSC257.

This should be interesting - Cardz 4 Guyz #270 has a "monochromatic" challenge this week!
I can't help but think of "stamping off" when I think monochrome - such a great way to get different shades of the same color!  What could I do this way that would be masculine enough?  Mountain Air to the rescue!  I decided a lovely receding landscape of manly pine trees would be just the thing, and I did it all up in Shaded Spruce to go along, lol.  In the end, I added one of the gorgeous fancy die-cut trees along the left edge, too - so pretty, and NOT fussy!
Mountain Air & Best Year Stamp Sets; Basic White & Shaded Spruce CS; Shaded Spruce Inks; Majestic Mountain Dies; #C4G270.

Very nice!  CAS Christmas May 2021 has hit on one of my favorite Christmas themes - foliage and berries - love them together!
I decided to pull out Poinsettia Petals for this one - it has so many other great holiday images in it, and the dies can't be beat!  I kept things really pared down - two holly leaves and a little berry sprig to go with.  I ended up tucking them behind a simple circle for my sentiment, but I couldn't resist a few Gilded Gems to add some twinkle!  I really like the look of my blender pen work on the holly leaves, too, I need to use that more!
Poinsettia Petals Stamp Set; Basic White CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Garden Green & Real Red Ink; Blender Pen; Poinsettia & Layering Circle Dies; Gilded Gems; #CASChristmasMay2021.

Check out this fresh and fun color challenge at this month's Stampin' Pals Challenge #15!
Well, I just can't seem to get enough of this cute popsicle from the April 2020 So Cool Paper Pumpkin, lol.  It was just MADE for color challenges, lol.  Easy to color, easy to snip out, just fun all 'round!  I like to add a few coordinating sequins, too, for extra little pops of color!  Stay cool, everyone!

Here I am back again at Less Is More #442, with the lovely theme of "sea creatures!"  Hopefully I can follow directions this week, lol.
I just couldn't resist going back to our now-retired Whale of a Time DSP - I'm pretty sure this paper still holds first place in all of time in my heart, lol.  I am very carefully hoarding it as much as I can!  This works well for LIM - I'm not tempted to put big swaths of patterned paper out there, at least!  I love these rich colors, and of course, the smiling sea turtle.  Can't go wrong there!
Whale Done Stamp Set; Whale of a Time DSP (retired); Basic White & Tranquil Tide CS; Tranquil Tide Ink; Smooth Sailing Dies; #LIM442.
