I decided to pull out my beloved Sending Smiles bundle for this one - another one for the retiring list this year, sigh. I have so loved all these sweet phrases - like the one today to send a little pick me up! I paired it with our new Thoughtful Journey DSP - so many more gorgeous watercolor scenes to play with again! I did a single purple flower to match the ones in my landscape, and built my "sending sunshine" sentiment - such a good thought! A few Purple Shimmer Gems finishes things off! Aloha!  Yum! I so approve of the choice to celebrate Cinco de Mayo this round at Festive Friday #157! This was a fun one to build - I really dug deep through various retired items to tick more boxes on the inspo list today! I started by scanning my DSP scraps for orange and green - found some great bits in Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie! Then I decided to do a BIG avocado - from 2020's Garden Goodness set, the whole reason I bought this set, lol! It pairs perfectly with our super fun Taco Fiesta set - I don't think I can stamp an avocado of any size without a mustache and a sombrero anymore, lol. Oh, and I found some bunting dies in my old Bonanza Dies, too! So, I was able to get orange, green. enamel dots, avocado, mustache & bunting - wheee! Time for another NBUS #61 - I ALWAYS have a stack of stuff to use! Today I get to try out my new Under the Moon set - no sentiments, which I usually don't go for, but OH the images! This is another cool scene-builder type set, that features a lovely huge moon over some water and island scenes, with some pretty clouds, too! I sort of CAS'ed a card front in the new catty to get started with this one, and experimented with my coloring here - so much we can do with sponge daubers! I started by inking up the whole stamp in the lighter color, then added touches of the darker color with a dauber - loving the effect I got! I kept it all simple from there by just doing a topsy layer thing - so easy with the smaller layers! Anyway, this is yet another set on the retiring list, and I only JUST got this one when it made our second release of Sale-a-Bration items, lol. Oh well, at least it was free! Anyway, I did a super fussy cut of these leaves to feature with my sentiment, and then I remembered these Foiled Gems in two of our colors - perfect! I'm naming my card today after the DSP, because this is ALL about the papers, plus that fun Father's Day sentiment! Two of the sheets have several ready to mount designs and tags, all you have to do is cut them apart! So fun and quick! This seemed like a good chance to ink up my new Leaf Collection background set - this was an all-attendee giveaway at our On Stage event in Houston a couple weeks ago - such fun organic shapes! I knew I needed to combine it with something else for a sentiment at least, and I landed on Gorgeously Made for that. It has a lovely leafy sprig in the dies, and cool typeset sentiments - and it's slated to retire at the end of the current catty {SOB}. I didn't play with this set NEARLY enough to already be saying goodbye, lol. Glad I got to use it in my purple extravaganza! AND, we all know I love mixed-font sentiments, and there are several included in the set that I'm not showing off quite yet, lol.
