 There's a really cute corner sketch at AAA Cards #262, I think I can keep it CAS, too! I decided to use some pretty DSP - and I still have a lot of my Countryside Inn pack to get through! Good thing it's carrying over this year, lol. Anyway, I also wanted to use a cute sentiment from Perennial Postage - I was a bit shocked to see that this set is on the retiring list, though the dies are staying at least, whew. So many pretty sentiments in this one, and almost all mixed fonts! The card came together pretty quick, and I added some dimension, just because, and finished with a few Navy Enamel Dots - simple and pretty!  I love our dramatic sketch this round at Retro Rubber #228! It felt like a retro critter day today, so I went browsing and heard a little braying, lol. These guys haven't been out in a donkey's age! I floated this party animal over these happy dots from the Lighter Than Air DSP pack, and picked out the darker blue - Azure Afternoon - for my big diagonal band. I love the inspo list at this round's Festive Friday #156 - for Earth Day! I looked over the list to get an idea, and then went tree hunting! When I spotted Plant Hope from 2010, I knew this was the one - such a perfect sentiment for Earth Day! I ended up choosing the little bonsai tree for my image as more fun to color, and I pulled this gorgeous woodgrain sheet from my Country Woods DSP pack. A bit of Linen Thread adds a touch of twine, and I still have these Opaque Faceted Dots in Pecan Pie! So that gives me neutrals, woodgrain, twine and trees - not too shabby! I knew right away that the stripes I wanted to show off today are from the upcoming Country Woods DSP pack - so many gorgeous woodgrains and distressed paints! Isn't this one fabulous? I did a cute flower bucket for this one, in coordinating colors, from an accompanying stamp bundle, Country Flowers. This was my "Stampin' After Hours" bundle choice at On Stage in Houston, and I was thrilled the DSP was on the pre-order, too! I'm on it! Looking over my retired shelves, I came across my Thanks a Bunch from last year - I am STILL smitten with these carrots, though I'm not too sure what to do with them, lol. I found some old Pumpkin Pie DSP to use for my background, so I paired it with Lemon Lime Twist for a bright Spring color combo! I stamped and fussy cut three of the largest carrots, and then popped up the "Spring" sentiment with my still awesome Tasteful Labels dies. I even snuck in a few Mango Melody Fine Sparkle Gems for a bit of shine! Very nice - it's time for In{k}spire Me #530's Easter theme challenge! Since I actually got an Easter set this year, which I don't often do, I knew I wanted to play with that today! Excellent Eggs has such sweet images, but really, this one is all about the dies for me - we don't have many egg dies! I decided to lay with heat-embossing the fancy egg images today, I definitely like the look! Inspired by the pretty pastels in this DSP sheet from the Lighter Than Air pack, I did a Pool Party and a Fresh Freesia egg, with my sentiment on some Lemon Lolly - VERY Easter bonnet, I think! The Rainbow Dots finished with just the right extra pop of colors! I focused on those cute rainboots with flowers, mostly because I remembered I had a rainboot image somewhere, lol. After a bit of a dig, I found it in my March 2020 Paper Pumpkin set - Spring Splash! Yes! The grassy insert the set had reminded me of our new upcoming DSP called Thoughtful Journey - another fresh and lovely watercolor style that you'll love! I used this fun thistle sheet, and promptly covered most of it up with my boot - oh well! I couldn't resist this sweet sentiment from Timeless Arrangements to go with, at least! But look how gorgeous this fancy foiled Fresh Freesia sheet looks with our just-retired Wishes All round bundle! Non-traditional, but a bit of sparkle and shine! I inked my sentiment in the darker Blackberry Bliss, and the chose my darker Purple Fine Shimmer Gems to accent it a bit. I love me a Freesia Christmas!
