Today I'm starting with As You See It #135, and adding the "masculine" theme from TGIF #56. I decided I wanted to play with Thoughtful Banners some more - I am fascinated by the possibilities of the long skinny bar included in the set. Could I make it the focal point? I picked out hubby's favorite colors and went to town, and then went back and added all the words that I think of when I think of him. This is definitely in the running for his Father's Day card this year! Thoughtful Banners & Scenic Sayings (on envelope); Whisper White & Dapper Denim CS; Tip Top Taupe, Mint Macaron, Dapper Denim, Lost Lagoon & Memento Tuxedo Inks; Crumb Cake Candy Dots; Wood Heart Accent (leftover from Watercolor Wishes kit!) Such a clever way to interpret the sketch. The word bars are great and I'm a big fan of the colours you've used. Thanks for playing along with us at As You See It.

You've inspired me, Heather, with the way you've used the thoughtful banners words and the solid bar! I've been wanting to try something like this and using them to create the vertical element of the sketch was brilliant! Thanks for contributing to our gallery at As You See It Challenges!
