Sending Love & Support (& Pumpkin Club Oct 31!)

Well, of course I have to jump on Time Out Challenge #172's support for breast cancer, what a great idea!  I have just the thing!
I knew right away I wanted to use this little bra stamp in my ancient Fashion Statements set - from 2005!  I think this is one of my oldest sets, lol.  Anyway, it comes attached to the phrase "thanks for your support" which didn't quite fit, so I masked that off for this sea of flying bras!  Then I put together my own sentiment with our Make a Difference alphabet set - this one has the tiniest letters we have, I think!  I finished with a feature bra and a few pink pearls, fun and hopefully spirit-lifting!
Fashion Statement (retired 2005) & Make A Difference Stamp Sets; Whisper White & Flirty Flamingo CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Flirty Flamingo Blends Marker; Layering Circles Dies; Pink Pearls; #TOC172.

Yum, loving these gorgeous Fall colors this week at Hand Stamped Sentiments #348!
I decided to take a little peek over the shelves for something that hasn't been out to play for a bit, and Special Someone was the winner!  I felt like the two "browns" were perfect for a couple critters hanging out together, lol.  I set up my little scene in the corner in Black, then went back and stamped in all my two-steps stamped off, for a slightly more muted color look.  At the last second, I found some ancient retired Mint Macaron Enamel Dots to add as well - perfect and sweet!
Special Someone Stamp Set; Whisper White & Mint Macaron CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Crumb Cake, Cinnamon Cider & Mint Macaron Inks; Mint Macaron Enamel Dots (retired); #HSS348.

Oo, CAS on Friday #184 has a fun one this week - make your card anything but white!  Time to bring out the colors!
My sleeper fave of our 2018 In Colors, I have to say, has been Seaside Spray.  I'm finding myself going to it more and more - it's starting to rival Purple Posy for my affections, shhh!  I decided to try for a one-layer card, and do my stamping in White Shimmer emboss - I'm a bit worried it's maybe too indistinct.  I do LOVE the white against the Seaside Spray, though, and even though it's supposed to be CAS, lol, I couldn't help but add on some matching sequins.  In two sizes.  Shhh again...
Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set; Seaside Spray CS; Memento Tuxedo Black (on envelope) & Versamark Inks; White Shimmer EP; Seaside Spray Sequins; #CASOF184.

Oo, this is a fun one over at The Male Room #135 - "sentiment in focus!"
It just so happens that my go-to Sorry for Everything set is also on the retiring list, sigh, and what a perfect big bold sentiment to feature!  I kept everything a bit muted for a guy card, and matched up the "not feeling well" sentiment for this one - I already know who I'm sending this one to!  The mix and matchability side of this set is one of the things I love about it - so many flavors of sorry, lol...  I was able to sneak in this DSP background, too - I still have BOTH full sheets of it - yikes!
Sorry For Everything Stamp Set; Come Sail Away DSP; Whisper White & Early Espresso CS; Early Espresso Ink; True Gentleman Button (retired); Linen Thread; #TMR135.

Don't we have a loving sketch this week at Try Stampin' on Tuesday #444?
So I know it's almost the great day of romance, lol, but you know me, I had to go off the rez, here!  How about a big loving APPLE??  Lol.  As soon as I saw our optional theme of using up scraps I knew I'd be headed straight for my pile of Tutti Frutti clippings - they're just so colorful and fun!  What better shape to go with these than a nice apple, with a get better wish.  Perfect!
So, what will YOU create?  I can't wait to see your ideas, over at the challenge!

Today I am honored and thrilled to guest design at my beloved CAS on Friday #172 - and it's a get well theme!  Yay!
I always start  out by browsing the stamp shelves for likely candidates, and today I realized I haven't used my Dandelion Wishes in quite a while - I so love the images in this set, and the font used for the sentiments is so cheerful!  I kept things as CAS as I could for the ladies, but I didn't resist very hard at putting threee teensy sequins to go with the wishes, lol.  Soft and gentle folks - just what you're wanting when you don't feel at your best!
I hope you'll join in over at the challenge - I look forward to seeing your designs!

In{k}spire Me #412 is back with a fun combo challenge to kick off their 2020 - pretty colors!
I really wasn't sure I could do both parts of this challenge, I have to be honest. In what scenario would all these colors work together??  How about in a pretty landscape, like, say, one made with the gorgeous new My Meadow set??  Yes!!  I cut out a circle, and started building my scene.  I've found in all these scene-builder sets, it works best for me if I start from one main focal image, and build out from there - today, that was the bridge.  I got creative with some stamping off to mix in some shading as well, and I think it turned out great!  I'm loving how all these pieces fit together!  A quick sentiment, and few faceted dots, and we are set!
My Meadow & Sending You Thoughts Stamp Sets; Seaside Spray, Smoky Slate & Whisper White CS; Smoky Slate, Granny Apple Green, Seaside Spray, Blushing Bride & Melon Mambo Inks; Parisian Flourish EF; Layering Circles & Ornate Frames Dies; Seaside Spray Faceted Dies; #IM412.

The Sewing Machine (& Pumpkin Club & Tag Buffet Nov 30!)

Oooo!  This week's Library Challenge #46 is the wonderful The Sewing Machine by Natalie Fergie - what a great read!
So this one ended up being a tough one for me, since I apparently don't have my Sew Suite set anymore - bummer!  Fortunately, I could still bring in my Needle & Thread set to save the day!  I kept things fairly simple and chose a lovely background sheet from the Needlepoint Nook DSP, then made a pretty stitched medallion for a quiet but cheery get well.  I finished with a few needlepoint details and tiny rhinestones.  I love all these blues together!
Needle & Thread Stamp Set (retired 2019); Needlepoint Nook DSP (retired); Whisper White & Balmy Blue CS; Night of Navy, Balmy Blue & Pretty Peacock Inks; Stitched Shapes & Needlepoint Elements Dies; Basic Jewel Rhinestones; #TLC046.

Smooch Me With Apples

With a new month, Joy of Sets Tic Tac Toe #10 is back with a new grid for us to play with!  Fun!
I don't think I've ever done "watercolor smooching," so of course I have to pick a row that includes that!  How about Silver-Watercolor Smooching-Apples!  I wanted to smooch the apples themselves for this one, so out came my Harvest Hellos set - LOVE the punch that goes with it!  I started with a strip of Whisper White, then pressed my ink pads direct to am embossing plate and spritzed a few times with water.  Then I started smooching, lol.  I wiped down the plate between colors and did a bit of heat gun drying, too.  What a cool effect!  I totally want to try this again, what a fun way to play with color!
Harvest Hellos Stamp Set; Whisper White, Poppy Parade, Crumb Cake & Pear Pizzazz CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Poppy Parade, Mango Melody & Merry Merlot Inks; Apple Builder Punch; Polka Dot Basics EF (retired); Silver Thread; Silver Pearls; #JOSTTT10.

Oh, good times - As You See It #210 has a "get well" recipe for us this week - cool idea!
Looking over my "ingredients," I decided the time was finally NOW to break out Daisy Lane - woot!  This is a lovely companion set to Daisy Delight, complete with its own punch, sized a bit smaller - yay!  I created a simple card using the fern-ish leaf from the set in the background, and then made a tag with a Stitched Oval.  My get well is from the July 2015 Thanks A Latte Paper Pumpkin - loved this one for the cute cups, but the sentiments were awesome, too, lol.
