I'm loving the look of As You See It #213's layered circles, and loving even more that they remind us we don't HAVE to do circles, lol.  My kind of crowd!
As it turns out, I think I WILL go with corcles today, though - I'm so contrary, lol!  I decided to use this as an opportunity to show off some pretty Christmas DSP, and add a quick Itty Bitty sentiment.  I did stitched everything, too, lol, LOVE my stitched dies!  I kept it simple and quick, and finished with just a few sparkly rhinestones.  Very Merry, indeed!
Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set; Night Before Christmas DSP; Old Olive, Very Vanilla & Cherry Cobbler CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Stitched Shapes & Rectangle Stitched Dies; Very Vanilla Baker's Twine; Basic Jewel Rhinestones; #AYSI213.

The tag's the thing this week at Try Stampin' on Tuesday #435!
So, of course, I didn't do a "tag" per se, lol...  I got to looking over my holiday shelf, and thinking about our bonus challenge of "non-traditional."  I think funky colors is about as non-traditional as I can go today, at least without a cactus, lol.  How about purple and yellow?  And let's turn the background into a sentiment, too, and use the beautiful Merry Medley, which for some reason has not migrated to the retired shelves in my studio - don't know what happened there, lol.  In keeping with the weird color idea, I also added a strand of Calypso Twine at the bottom - wacky-doo!
So, what will YOU come up with??  I can't wait to see your creations over at the challenge!
Merry Medley Stamp Set (retired); Purple Posy, Whisper White, Blackberry Bliss & Mango Melody CS; Blackberry Bliss & Purple Posy Inks; Seasonal Frames Dies; Calypso Coral Linen Thread (I think from a Paper Pumpkin kit?); Clear Epoxy Droplets; #TSOT435.

Whew - so glad to be back on track to play at this week's In{k}spire Me #405 - somehow the timing has been off the last few challenges, grr.  Check out that checkerboard!
So, when I started thinking about building that checkerboard, I wanted to make sure I had a good background for it, which took me straight to the Feels Like Frost DSP pack - it's pretty hard to resist for me, lol.  I quickly also decided to add my checkers in the pretty silver foil backs - I actually haven't used any of the silver sides yet at all - yikes!  I chose this tag from the Christmas trio in Tags Tags Tags, because I felt like it went with the frosty background best...  The silver is a little harder to see than I hoped, but the overall effect is pretty!
Tags Tags Tags Stamp Set; Feels Like Frost DSP; Whisper White & Night of Navy CS; Night of Navy Ink; Trio of Tags Dies; Silver Baker's Twine; Basic Jewel Rhinestones; #IM405.

We have a symphony of the planets kind of sketch for you this week at Sunday Stamps #218!
I decided to turn mine into ornaments - and stamping sets outside their color suites seems to be my especial jam this year, lol.  Today's experiment matched up my Christmas Gleaming Ornaments with the Toile Tidings DSP - I'm all over the buffalo check sheet!  I couldn't decide whether to do green-on-red or red-on-green, so I went ahead and did both, lol.  Not sure which I like best!
So, what will YOU create?  I can't wait to see your cards over at the challenge!
Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set; Toile Tidings DSP; Very Vanilla, Garden Green & Real Red CS; Real Red, Poppy Parade, Cherry Cobbler, Merry Merlot, Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, Garden Green & Mossy Meadow Inks; Blender Pen; Rectangle Stitched Dies; Gleaming Ornament Punches; Very Vanilla Baker's Twine; Gold Glitter Enamel Dots; #SSC218.

I'm very excited to have a long enough lead time to play at this week's Just Add Ink #482 - such a fun sketch!
Lately I've been a little obsessed with pairing the gorgeous Nature's Beauty set with the stunning Feels Like Frost DSP - it's like a set a backgrounds made for all these sweet winter critters, lol.  Today our shy doe came out for a quick pose against her snowy trees, gorgeous!  I added a quick sentiment with Itty Bitty Christmas - I'm loving this set, too - there's something there for everyone, lol.  Hm, I might need to take a ride up to the rim as soon as it snows up there - it DOES actually snow in some parts of Arizona, lol...
Nature's Beauty & Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Sets; Feels Like Frost DSP; Whisper White & Seaside Spray CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Crumb Cake Inks; Softly Falling EF; Scalloped Tag Topper & 1 3/8" Circle Punches; Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon; Linen Thread; Silver Pearls; #JAI482.

I'm super excited that Paper Craft Crew #358 is a two week sketch, so I can play - yay!
For this sketch, I decided to show off another fun sheet from the Night Before Christmas DSP pack - I thought all these pretty ornaments could match up with our Christmas Gleaming bundle - love that little punch duo that goes with!  This DSP features some rich deep colors for the holidays, so I stuck with that for my details.  So pleased with how it came out - a very cool sketch!
Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set; Night Before Christmas DSP; Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry & Mossy Meadow CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Mossy Meadow & Cherry Cobbler Inks; Cherry Cobbler & Daffodil Delight Blends Makers; Gleaming Ornaments Punch; #PCCC358.

I'm so excited I get to sneak in on Stamp Ink Paper #205 this week - check out these gorgeous colors!
And since this challenge is all about our most basic tools - stamps, Ink and paper, lol - I decided to stick to just that, and go clean and simple all the way!  Colorful Seasons is just right for that, with the lovely leaf builder stamps in that gorgeous set, and of course, the awesome dies to go with, lol.  The fun thing about this color challenge was also how I could actually do multiples of each color family, since they didn't actually name NAMES, lol.  Perfect!
Colorful Seasons Stamp Set; Very Vanilla CS; Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Real Red & Pumpkin Pie Inks; Seasonal Layers Dies; #SIP205.

Oh goody - Retro Rubber #123 is anything goes this week - I always go on the prowl for the really obscure for these, lol...  I'll use Hand Stamped Sentiments #327's fun colors  to help guide me along this time, too!
It occured to me that the colors seem to be the ones from my fave Holiday suite this year - Let It Snow.  There's even an embellishment kit to go withg the adorable snowmen featured, BUT, turns out they can share their wardrobe with OTHER snowmen, too, lol, like these charmers from 2015's Snow Place - perfect!  I had some fun setting them up in a snowy scene, getting them snugly dressed, and I even tried out some of these fancy snowballs that came in the embellie kit, too.  We'll see how they do - maybe they'd be good in a shaker, too.
Snow Place (retired 2015); Whisper White, Real Red & Coastal Cabana CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Coastal Cabana & Real Red Inks; Pumpkin Pie Blend Marker; Snow Friends Dies (retired); Let It Snow Embellishment Kit; #RR123; #HSS327.

Check out our beautiful landscape sketch at this week's Try Stampin' on Tuesday #434!  It'll go GREAT with our embellishment challenge at SU Only #236, too!
Today I decided that I will be including ALL kinds of goodies in the "embellishment" category, lol, like ribbon, glitter and sequins to be exact!  I started with this gorgeous sheet from the Feels Like Frost DSP pack, and added this shy bunny from Nature's Beauty.  And since there are no sentiments in that set, Itty Bitty Christmas came to the rescue, lol.  I added some super sparkly Ice Glitter to my guy, some pretty metallic ribbon behind him (so soft!), and finished with a few Seaside Spray sequins in the upper left corner that almost get lost against the gorgeous paper...  I just love it all!
So, I can't wait to see YOUR creations at BOTH challenges - meet you there!
Nature's Beauty & Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Sets; Feels Like Frost DSP; Whisper White, Seaside Spray & Crumb Cake CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Soft Suede, Seaside Spray & Petal Pink Blends Markers; Stitched Shapes & Layering Circles Dies; Metallic Ribbon in Seaside Spray; Ice Glitter; Seaside Spray Sequins from Woven Threads Collection; #TSOT434; #SUOC236.

Very fun - CAS on Friday #167 has a one-layer challenge for us this week!  Let's do this!
I find myself doing more and more one-layer cards these days, totally without intention, lol.  So I don't know why I have a quiet little panic when I see it in a challenge - what's up with that??  For today's card, I wanted to celebrate how much I love using a brayer over a masked area to define a color bounded space - a created canvas, so to speak.  I don't think I've used First Frost this year at all, so it got to come out to play, and I matched it up with many layers of Soft Sea Foam.  I thought my stamped images would look pretty good in Espresso against this - very yummy combo, though I now wonder if my stem is a little too translucent, hm...  I finished with a few Snowflake Sequins, just 'cause this is supposed to be a Christmas card, lol.  Fun times!
First Frost Stamp Set; Whisper White CS; Soft Sea Foam & Early Espresso Ink; Snowflake Sequins; #CASOF167.
