This seemed like a great chance to show off the Sale-A-Bration bundle Friendly Hello, too - such fun DSP! I got to show off both sides of my favorite sheet today! I stamped up the little bird image, and used a nice skinny and long sentiment from our retired Welcoming Woods. It all worked out perfect, and I finished with some pops of light from our Silver Epoxy Essentials. So cute! Well, since our shipping is running a bit behind for our usual Pumpkin Club, I decided we should have a little Valentine's Bonus instead!  Excellent! The Sisterhood of Crafters is back from their holiday, too, with a "color blue" challenge! I knew right away that I wanted to a sweet tropical silhouette card with Paradise Palms for this one - I couldn't wait to use that big palm tree die! I made a nice blue wash background with this sheet from Beauty of the Earth DSP, and then set my scene with Night of Navy die pieces. Swoon! Starting to get Maui on the brain again, I think, lol. I also love this sentiment, which I think is likely an "inside" sentiment for the retirement wishes, but I think it looks great featured out front, too! It just so happened that I had my Pansy Petals DSP out on my desk, and right on top were some scraps of this gorgeous stripey sheet in greens - yes! What could go with that? I quickly settled on Nuts About Squirrels, and stamped the one perched on a branch so I could pull in some of the green with leaves into the image - so cute! I love the expression on this cutie - he must be Miss Suzy's nephew, lol.  Very cool, I spotted a new-to-me challenge at another blog entry, and had to go check it out! This is The Flower Challenge #64, and they'd like to see monochrome this round - let's give it a go! I chose Art Gallery for my flower stamp today - I figured the two-step blossom would be perfect for going monochrome, and I went with tones of orange for a little extra sunshine around here! I started with a pretty wash panel from the Expressions in Ink pack, and did a two-tone blossom in Pale Papaya and stamped-off Pumpkin Pie. I did the leaves in full-strength Pumpkin Pie, and finished with the sentiment in Mango Melody. All these oranges play so well together! Yum, it's coffee or tea time over at Cupcake Inspirations #535! Let's caffeinate! I couldn't resist pulling out our still-current (yay!) Nothing's Better Than set for this one! Coffee is definitely one of the tiny vices featured in this set, and I love that retro coffee cup! I kept it pretty simple - stamps, ink and paper, with just a few Glitter Enamel Dots at the end! I love how this came out, and I tried to use "retro" colors to go with that coffee cup! However, I could add a simple little tree from Beauty of Friendship that's just right! Yay! I kept it super clean and simple, but I had to add a couple Brushed Brass Butterflies to finish - they just flew right on, lol. This ended up being a super quick card, too, handy!
