Woo, hope you're ready! We have some Speedy Spring Flowers for our challenge this round at As You See It #319! One of my favorite ways to keep the time down on our speed challenges is to let the DSP do the heavy lifting, so to speak, lol. So when I checked out my stamp shelves for a good flower set to use, I tried to focus on ones that I knew I had DSP for. When Pansy Patch caught my eye, I knew right away I wanted to do this one - I suspect this beauty will finally retire this year, sigh. Did I still have any DSP for it though? I sure did, and it had a bunch of already cut pansies and leaves in it, too - jackpot! I assembled my items, and started the clock! I didn't really have a layout plan, and I didn't pre-select my pansies from the pile in there - oops, plus a run to the punch tower for my sentiment - so I still ended up taking 6 minutes 44 seconds while I fiddled pieces around - whew! I even had time to do the envelope! I can't wait to see YOUR speedy flowers for us, too - meet you at the challenge! Pansy Patch Stamp Set; Pansy Petals DSP (retired); Basic White & Evening Evergreen (retired) CS; Evening Evergreen Ink (retired); Pansy Dies; Large Oval Punch; Evening Evergreen Opal Rounds (retired); #AYSI319.

What a gorgeous way to use the scraps. Lovely card - it looks like you spend much more than 10 minutes to put it together!

I'm amazed that you still have some of that lovely gingham paper left! I'm glad you did though because it goes so well with the pansies. Oh, and I'm glad that you had the pansies already die cut in your stash, because it makes me feel better using the same strategy! This is such a pretty card, Heather!!

I saw your card Heather and thought - I probably have some of those flowers cut too; why didn't I think of that?! I love it - those pansies are the perfect flower for spring against that gingham too, gorgeous!
