I can't believe this is the last week of My Pumpkin Challenge #1015 - Sweet Harvest! So sad! At least SU-per Challenges #109's Halloween challenge is a natural match to go with!
I decided I haven't been giving that witch hat stamp enough play - and it's a cutie! This card kind of reminds me of that snowman card last year with the stack of hats, but spooky of course, lol. I also played with my new Seasonal Frame thinlets that I didn't even get the stamp set for - I just wanted these words! So show us your last pumpkin for the month - only one more week til the next challenge! Wickedly Sweet Treat Paper Pumpkin; plus, Happy Haunting DSP; Very Vanilla, Tangelo Twist and Blackberry Bliss CS; Smoky Slate, Basic Gray, Memento Tuxedo Black, Tangelo Twist, Mossy Meadow & Blackberry Bliss Inks; Lots of Labels Framelits; Seasonal Frame Thinlets; Tangelo Twist Striped Satin Ribbon. Goin' tilty at this week's Sunday Stamps #112! Matching this one up with this week's spooky color challenge at Nacho Average Challenge #164!
Even though I promised myself I was done with Halloween cards for this year, I had to do just ONE more, with this color combo, lol. This time, I wanted to play with Witches' Night, the stamp set that went with our Witching Decor project kit. I really like the dramatic scrollwork! I did a little fussy cutting to highlight a couple details, and threw in my last three black rhinestones from my kit. I even have that little cloud of bats on a vanilla insert on the inside! Witches' Night Stamp Set; Sweet L'il Thing DSP; Basic Black & Very Vanilla CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Tangelo Twist Inks; Lots of Labels Framelits; 3/4" Circle & Corner Rounder Punches; Black Rhinestones. Hard to believe we're already on week three of My Pumpkin Challenge #1015 - Sweet Harvest! So excited to match it up with this week's In{k}spire Me #220!
Hard to not do another spooky card, lol, and, (queue the dramatic music) use up every single final scrap of this old birch paper from last year's Thankful Tablescape kit! Yes! That kit is GONE, down to the last speck! Woo hoo! OK, sorry, I get a little carried away in frugal celebrations sometimes. I needed a moment there... So ANYWAY, I just can't seem to stop making these adorable little tags with this kit's stamp set - I see that in my future for a long time to come, lol... So, how's your own Sweet Harvest going? Can't wait to see! Wickedly Sweet Treats Paper Pumpkin; plus, Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Early Espresso & Old Olive CS; Early Espresso, Tangelo Twist, Blackberry Bliss & Old Olive Inks; Woodland Textured Embossing Folder; SAB 2015 Tangelo Twist Heavy Baker's Twine; PL Corner Rounder Punch. Click the picture for a printable flyer! So excited to get to Week 2 of My Pumpkin Challenge #1015 - Sweet Harvest! I can't resist combining this week with Can You Case It #90 - the Halloween edition. A natural marriage! Now, how can we NOT go crazy celebration over pumpkins when we actually have such a cute one to play with in this month's kit? I went a little overboard, and fussy cut SEVEN of these little cuties - our very own haunted Paper Pumpkin Patch! So what do YOU have to share this week over at the challenge? We can't wait to see! Wickedly Sweet Treats Paper Pumpkin; plus, Elegant Eggplant, Cajun Craze & Whisper White CS; Mossy Meadow, Pumpkin Pie, Tangelo Twist, Tangerine Tango & Elegant Eggplant Inks; Lots of Labels Framelits; PL Corner Rounder & Curvy Corner Trio Punches. Welcome to week one of our new challenge at My Pumpkin Challenge #1015 - Sweet Harvest! I think this one is perfect match for our Wickedly Sweet kits, but also easy to incorporate with other autumnal occasions... I went straight for the sweet today, lol. I've been itching to use that little candy stamp, and you know how I am when I can't settle on a color - out they ALL come! This set seems a natural match with our entire 2013-15 In Colors collection - I predict you'll be seeing a lot of them and their accessories this month! I can't wait to see what Sweet Harvests YOU have to share - see you at the challenge! Wickedly Sweet Treat Paper Pumpkin; plus Natural White, Whisper White & Blackberry Bliss CS; Cajun Craze, Tangelo Twist, Hello Honey, Mossy Meadow & Blackberry Bliss Inks; 3/4" Oval & PL Corner Rounder Punches; Woodgrain Embossing Folder; 2015 SAB Buttons in Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey & Mossy Meadow. Season to Season Wreath Class! Oh wow - you are going to LOVE the Season to Season Wreath project! This kit class features the beautiful wreath shown, with three different little banners and hanging ribbons that you can change out to update for October, November and December holidays! SO much fun! Class is announced for Thursday, October 8 at 6:30 pm or Saturday, October 10 at 3 pm. Class is $30, and includes your own complete kit, and all additional supplies needed to complete the project, plus snacks, drinks, and a treat from me! RSVP today to reserve your kit, or to schedule an alternate date! Can't wait to see you! There's a seriously fun sketch at this week's Retro Sketch #184! It's going to look great with the fun colors at this week's TGIF #23! I knew right away I was going to have to browse the Room of Retirement to find the right shapes to work for this one. I also knew I wanted to try and turn this one sideways, just for fun. That worked out perfect when I finally dug out my The More the Merrier set. This old hostess set has several ADORABLE groupings to play with besides these super happy Jack-o-Lanterns, lol. I took some liberty with the sentiment placement, but hopefully you can see the sketch! The More the Merrier Stamp Set (retired); Rich Razzleberry DSP (from retired stack); Whisper White, Old Olive & Pumpkin Pie CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Pumpkin Pie & Old Olive Inks; Itty Bitty Banner Framelits; Rich Razzleberry 1/4" Grosgrain; Brights Candy Dots in Old Olive. Season to Season Wreath Class! Oh wow - you are going to LOVE the Season to Season Wreath project! This kit class features the beautiful wreath shown, with three different little banners and hanging ribbons that you can change out to update for October, November and December holidays! SO much fun! RSVP today to reserve your kit, or to schedule an alternate date! Can't wait to see you! I love this week's bold and simple sketch at Nacho Average Challenge #161! I think I'll combine it with In{k}spire Me #218's Fall/Halloween challenge! So I've had a cute little stamp set haunting me ever since convention, the Promoting Paper Pumpkin set. It's a demo-only stamp set, I believe, and it came in a little business bundle with postcards, pens and flyers. That's all cute and all, and I do LOVE the pens, lol, BUT, it was all about the PUMPKIN for me! I have long loved that curlicue pumpkin shown on our kits - now I have a stamp of it! There's also several sentiments, and a "fill-in" pumpkin stamp, but today I wanted to aqua-paint! So glad I finally got to break this cutie out! Promoting Paper Pumpkin & Cheer All Year Stamp Sets; Whisper White, Basic Black & Pumpkin Pie CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Pumpkin Pie & Old Olive Inks; Spiderweb Doily; Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder; Corner Rounder Punch; Banner Triple Punch; (Black Gems leftover from Witching Decor Kit!) Season to Season Wreath Class! I LOVE our "autumnal" color challenge this week at Fab Friday #71 - a gorgeous blend of In Colors of both seasons! I'm feeling Halloween! Now that that's settled, I decided that means I can play with the gorgeous new Happy Scenes stamp set - I love little window settings! So fun to get some coloring in, too! I used the little corner cobweb on the envelope, too, for a complete suite of spookiness! Can't wait to see your creations over at the challenge - be sure to join us! Happy Scenes Stamp Set; Farmers Market DSP; Tip Top Taupe, Delightful Dijon, Old Olive & Very Vanilla CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Tangelo Twist, Delightful Dijon & Old Olive Inks; Hearth & Home Framelits; Decorative Dots Embossing Folder; Banner Punch (for flagging the sentiment); SAB In Color Buttons in Tangelo Twist; Basic Jewel Rhinestones. Pumpkin Club August 29! Did you get your August Pumpkin kit yet? We're going to the chalk board! Check out the video here! (Increase the resolution by clicking on the little gear icon.) I hope you can join us for our next Pumpkin Club, Saturday, August 29, 3 pm, chez Heroldt - RSVP to let me know you are coming! Club is free for my subscribers, and includes any extra supplies you might need, drinks and snacks! Let's take this Pumpkin out to play! You're going to LOVE our projects! Remember to subscribe here if you haven't already - sign up by September 10 and you can join us in time for next month! I am so drawn this week to how harmonious Just Add Ink #274 and Create With Connie & Mary #367 are! Must be the tilty lines, lol... So, I decided to take mainly colors from the inspiration pic, though I did stray a tiny bit with a few splashes of orange sequins, since I totally went in a Halloween direction. The deciding factor for me was the last remaining stamp set that needed to be inked - the Cheer All Year set, that goes with the awesome Season to Season Wreath project kit in the holiday catty. This is a wreath that you get to make accessories for that will span THREE holidays, so the stamp set that goes with has Halloween, Fall AND Christmas in it, lol. The little spider stamp was just too tempting, I guess! Cheer All Year Stamp Set; English Garden DSP; Basic Black, Crumb Cake, Heavy & Regular Whisper White CS; Basic Black Archival, Crumb Cake & Smoky Slate Inks; 7/8" & 1" Circle Punches; Linen Thread; Brights & Metallics Sequins. Hello Life: Lots of Cards Class I'm so excited to announce this month's class - Hello Life: Lots of Cards! This class will take our leftovers from our Hello Life Grid projects, and make 20 note cards and envelopes! Woo hoo! The bonus is using up all the leftover supplies from those projects, too! So, class is announced for Thursday, August 13, 6:30 pm or Saturday, August 15, 3 pm. All you need to bring are your leftovers from our Project Life kit, your favorite adhesive and I'll provide the rest, for the screaming deal of $10! There will also be drinks and snacks, plus your take-home treat from me! RSVP today! PS. I have one intact Hello Life kit remaining for $25 if you'd like to join us - plus this class fee of $10 would make $35 total. Just let me know! Here we are with one last round of My Pumpkin Challenge #1014 - Sweets & Treats - just in time for the big night! I'm finally using my very last awesome Blackberry Bliss box from the Wish Big kit - sob, so sorry to see it go! But I HAVE to stop hording stampin' stuff! Anyway, the white stripes are perfect for slipping in decor and sentiments, and purple, orange and black were MADE for Halloween! I ended up heat-embossing my stamping - the box surface was a little slick for just inks. But I did have fun using up some of my stickers! Yay! My secret confession: I am SO glad to be done with the burlap - I've had burlap lint in some pretty unmentionable places all month, lol. I even had to vacuum my stamp-n-scrub! Argh! Paper Pumpkin Boo-tiful Bags & Wish Big; plus, Black Staz-On Ink; Black Embossing Powder; Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set. I'm so excited to invite everyone to this year's 24th Annual Holiday & Gift Show at Mountainview Presbyterian! This year's show is scheduled for November 21, from 9 AM to 5 PM, and Saturday November 22 from 9 AM to 3 PM. Make sure to come early and get your cinnamon roll orders in! I've also heard they have several exciting new vendors - I can't wait to see! You can click here or on the picture to get your own flyer - see you there! |
