Frozen Treats

Ah ha - the always yummy Cupcake Inspiration #549 is playing FROZEN treats this round - count me in!
I went back to my old Cool Treats set from 2018 - still my favorite ice cream, lol.  I even still have some of the Tasty Treats DSP to go with - I'm such a hoarder for some things!  Anyway, I settled on a simple layout, and set out to make a few yummies.  As usual, I went ahead and fussy cut my goodies - there are dies, yes, but the dies cut significantly smaller than the stamped image, and I want the biggest treats ever, lol!  I heat-embossed a sparkly sentiment from the Suite Sentiments set from the year before - a special set that gave us extra words for a few of our awesome bundles!  I finished with a birthday thought inside!
Cool Treats Stamp Set (retired 2018); Tasty Treats DSP; Basic White & Early Espresso CS; Versamark, Crumb Cake, Pear Pizzazz, Pool Party & Sweet Sorbet Inks; Shimmer White EP; Solid Faceted Gems in Sweet Sorbet; #CIC549.

We have a great theme this week at Addicted to CAS #225 - "nautical!"
I couldn't resist pulling in our latest Paper Pumpkin set for this one, called Sending Good Thoughts!  This kit was all about little bottles with messages and findings in them, and was VERY nautical, lol.  I saved one of my die cut sheets to use as a mask to blend up this bottle large enough for the little ship image, and created a little sandy spit for it to wash up on using an image from our retired High Tide set - I'm loving how it came out!  I added some twine around the bottle neck, and finished with some Faux Sea Glass bits in the bottle - I can hear the ocean from here!
Sending Good Thoughts (Paper Pumpkin Jul 22) & High Tide (retired 2021) Stamp Sets; Basic White CS; Crumb Cake, Pool Party & Basic Gray Inks; Blending Brush; Linen Thread; Faux Sea Glass Shapes (retired); #ATC225.

So excited we have our "Anything Goes" challenge this round at Retro Rubber #188!  PERFECT for our fun sketch at SU Only #307, too!
While scanning the shelves of retirement, the taco truck just kept beeping at me, lol - it needed some love!  It' hard to believe this was from a Sale-A-Bration in 2017!  It still seems so fresh, especially when it adapts to our latest hostess DSP so well - the Design a Daydream pack.  Fun colors to draw from for a cupcake truck, if I do say so myself!
I can't wait to see YOUR projects on these challenges - meet you there!
Tasty Trucks Stamp Set (retired 2017); Design a Daydream DSP; Basic White & Blackberry Bliss CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Blackberry Bliss, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Basic Black, Petal Pink, Crumb Cake & Pool Party Blends Markers; Old Olive Twill Ribbon; Glitter Enamel Dots (retired); #RRCB188; #SUOC307.

I can't believe it's the first again already, and you know that means it's time for another monthly theme from Sparkles Christmas Challenge #139!  This round we want to see sentiments as the focus!
I of course went straight for my Hope & Peace set - so many beautiful phrases!  I chose the largest since it's supposed to be a "feature," and matched it up with this pretty snowy paper from the Storybook Gnomes pack - love the blues here!  The Deckled Rectangles are quickly becoming my go-to for layers, and I finished with a touch Sheer Ribbon in Pool Party and a few Fine Sparkle Gems.  Love it!
I can't wait to see YOUR projects this round - meet you there!
Hope & Peace Stamp Set; Storybook Gnomes DSP; Basic White & Pacific Point CS; Pacific Point Ink; Deckled Rectangles & Layering Circles Dies; Sheer Pool Party Ribbon; Fine Sparkle Gems; #SCC139.

EEE!  Shopping Our Stash #475 has a hilarious challenge this round called "WTHEmbellishments!"  Um, I think I might have some stuff for this one, lol...
I went for a dig through the embellie drawer, and way at the back, I found this little set of Glitter Star Ornaments - I vaguely remember buying these off the clearance rack a few years ago to put on a little tabletop tree I was thinking about making.  Don't think I ever did, lol!  This makes for a bulky card, but perfect for the neighborhood cookie swap we do - no mailing required!
Decorated With Happiness Stamp Set; Celebrate Everything DSP; Basic White & Granny Apple Green CS; Granny Apple Green Ink; Crumb Cake & Granny Apple Green Blends Markers; Decorated Pines & Stitched Shapes (retired) Dies; Glitter Star Ornaments (retired); #SOS475.

We have SUCH a fun theme this round at Make My Monday #179 - outdoor sports!
I really went out on a limb for this one, because I'm away on retreat, and I didn't plan very well for the theme in what I brought with me!  I finally remembered I still had my Rugged Icon dies - yay for the fishing rod!  I set it up over this pretty blue wash paper from the Rings of Love pack to look like water, and added a few fish in different blues.  For the sentiment, I have mostly Christmas sets with me, and I finally spotted this cutie in our new Spruced Up set!  Isn't it funny how it all comes together??
Spruced Up Stamp Set; Rings of Love DSP; Basic White, Night of Navy, Balmy Blue, Basic Gray & Pool Party CS; Night of Navy Ink; Ornate Frames (retired) & Rugged Icons Dies; Balmy Blue Glossy Dots; #MMM179.

Our challenge this week at As You See It #280 is my favorite of the year!  I don't know how to pick just one thing for Christmas in July, though, lol...
I think my most favorite projects are those that show Santa living it up in his off-time, lol.  This image of the Big Guy out catching some peppermint waves has been one of my all-time Santa favorites since 2018!  Santa don't need no stinkin' snow!  I couldn't resist pulling in this ocean wash sheet from the Rings of Love DSP pack, and adding a big Evergreen palm tree, too - gotta be matchy-matchy!
I can't wait to see YOUR Christmas in July projects - I'll be waiting under the mistletoe!
So Santa Stamp Set (retired 2018); Rings of Love DSP; Basic White, Crumb Cake & Evening Evergreen CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Real Red, Evening Evergreen, Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake & SU1000 Blends Markers; Stylish Shapes & Palms Dies; #AYSI280.

Monochrome Scottie

Oo, The Male Room #164 has a cool challenge for us this month - "monochrome!"
I couldn't resist using this challenge as a vehicle for a NON-Christmas Scottie Dog card, lol.  He's just so cute!  We even have a sentiment that fits outside the holiday, so why not?  I went with Early Espresso three ways on Crumb Cake - full strength on the bottom, stamped off on top, and then "kissed" and reversed onto the little plaid pattern stamp that comes with the set.  Such a fun trio!  I stayed away from embellies and snazzy red collars for the monochrome theme (SIGH) but slipped in a few Rustic Metallic Dots, at least, lol.  Cutie times three!
Christmas Scottie Stamp Set; Basic White, Early Espresso & Crumb Cake CS; Early Espresso Ink; Rustic Metallic Dots; #TMR164.

Visions of Santas

Ho ho ho!  CAS Christmas has the BEST theme for us this month - Santa!
OK, after checking out my various Santa's, I really couldn't resist pulling out my old Visions of Santa from 2014 - now how to do something new?  And WHICH hilarious Santa to feature? And how much coloring do I feel like doing?  This is my answer to all those questions, lol.  When in doubt, use 'em all, and hey, if I feature the big sentiment in the middle, I could do a little belt-buckle play - sold!  After that, I just went back and forth on the coloring issue.  In the end, I decided it might be too much if I added all that red.  As if there really IS such a thing as too much Santa, lol...
Visions of Santa Stamp Set (retired 2014); Basic White, Real Red, Basic Black & Crushed Curry CS; Real Red & Memento Tuxedo Black Inks; Real Red Blend Marker; #CASChristmasSanta.

Tree Lot

Hm, we have a fabulous camper inspiration board this week at Hand Stamped Sentiments #394!
I kinda think someone had our Trees For Sale stamp set and Tree Lot dies on the brain for this one, lol.  No problemo!  Love this combo!  I'm pretty sure the Tree Lot dies will be the runaway favorite SAB item for sure!  I finally used the light strands on this card, and I tried to make a nice two-tone forest for my snazzy trailer.  This sentiment seemed a natural for this scene, lol.  So. Many. Pieces!  I must love you guys!
I can't wait to see YOUR projects for our inspiration board this round - bring it on!
Trees For Sale Stamp Set; Basic White, Real Red, Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, Silver Foil & Pool Party CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Crumb Cake Inks; Basic Black & Daffodil Delight Blends Markers; Tree Lot Dies; Banners Pick a Punch; #HSS394.
