I think Stamp Ink Paper #64's clean and simple challenge will be perfect for it! OK, I just got the Star of Light bundle, and it wants to PLAY today! I decided to give playing with negative space a try - all in aid of my effort to keep this "less is more" enough, lol. Anyway, I think a neat idea, but it feels like it's missing something.  You can't go wrong with the fun tilty panels at this week's Can You Case It #136! I'm excited to also play at this week's What Will You Stamp #80, for Swirly Bird! I just wanted to do some bright and abstract swirls for this one today, and all I needed was a background DSP to get me started on colors - Moroccan DSP to the rescue! I kept it to two colors, and I think this card could go to a boy or a girl, don't you think? I could SO play with swirls all day long, lol... Love it! The little bit of "corner business" definitely called to mind for me the latest Paper Pumpkin kit, Bold Botanicals. One of the gorgeous little flower stamps is a sort of corner-centric one - shaped for repeat stamping around a square - perfect for this sketch, too, lol. I doctored up my layers a bit, added a few touches of white to the leaves along with some bright pops of color in Tangerine Tango - I'll use up those candy dots if it kills me! OK, I just happened to get an order in yesterday, so I get to break out a new set! Yay! Now, I had resolved to avoid sets that were all images, or all sentiments, but you know, I like to be flexible, too. So when I saw the Totally Trees set, I knew I'd be breaking that resolution for it, lol. Love it! And using it with today's colors also shows that I can make totally crazy trees, too! Yay!  Love love LOVE the little banners at this week's Sunday Stamps #134! How fun it will be combined with Global Design Project #51's food theme! It didn't take me too long to decide what food I wanted to feature - with it still hitting over 100 degrees here in Arizona, ice cream is the hands-down winner! I found some light and fresh DSP to go with, and then colored in all my fave flavors, yum! Cold Stone, anyone?  Stamp Ink Paper #63 has a fascinating challenge this week - wings! Butterflies, birds or planes - any kind of wings! Woo! I'll be doing it in Nacho Average Challenge #179's colors, too! I really went hunting for some wacky wing alternatives for this one - yes, the chickens almost came to play today, lol. But then I thought of bright pops of color over white texture, and I went straight for Watercolor Wings. Sorry, chickens, best of cluck next time, lol.  Oo, I like the arrangement of layers at this week's Try Stampin' On Tuesday #285! I think it's been a whole week since I played with my beloved Thoughtful Branches set - lets get it inky again! I've been wanting to combine it with this leafy sheet from Serene Scenery, too, though now that I look at it I think I covered up most of what I wanted to show off, lol... Still, it was good to get some trees out there, and I needed some calming green today!
