This cute set has a big beautiful harvest basket, with a variety of contents to add - and all so colorable, lol. I chose the apples (having an apple week, it seems, lol) and get well sentiment again, I must have a subliminal craving going! these choices paired well with our still-available SAB paper, Rings of Love.  So excited - CAS Christmas has another great cue card for us - "pine!" I went straight for Decorated With Happiness for this one - I haven't even used the stamped pine branch yet - I've been too busy with the dies, lol. In that spirit, I'm all stamps, ink and paper today, lol, and I slipped in one elegant ornament, too! I have a feeling I'll be using this sentiment all over the place this year, too! For the branch, I first inked up the whole image in Mossy Meadow, then I went over the branches with an Early Espresso marker to get the two-tone. This trick works great when your marker ink is darker than the stamp pad ink! For this one, I decided to do a little scene - let's kick back with our toes in the sand, and a pink drink by our sides! I went back to last year's Seaside View for my elements - I placed some pretty palms over my beach-side adirondack, with some distant gulls in the sky. I had some fun coloring with my Blends markers, and finished with a few Pale Papaya Opal Rounds. For some reason they felt like they went with, to me, lol. Maui is calling! Awesome - Addicted to CAS #226 is speaking my love language - "tropical!" I had to pull out Paradise Palms to make my little tropical scene - of course! Only ONE palm tree today, lol, and I floated it all over a layer of the very tropical Bermuda Bay. So fun to put this together, and of course I imagined myself swaying in a hammock in there somewhere, lol. Ahhh... My old Dictionary background stamp from 2013 made me think of school, and that got me thinking about my "defining" sets from 2007. I still love these so much, and I decided the "inspire" combo was just right for what we want from schooling, right? This is a pretty stripped down card in the end, but maybe good for a guy, too!  I think I can JUST squeak in to this round of Festive Friday #115 - which celebrates International Dog Day! Yes! I have several beloved dog sets to choose from, and one my faves is 2021's Hot Dog! There's a trio of cute wiener dogs to choose from, and they have a full wardrobe to go with, too, complete with a cone of shame, lol. I kept things pretty simple today, and added a simple bow to this handsome fellow holding his love note. I focused on neutral colors, texture (HOUNDstooth, get it, I so crack myself up!) and twine. Well, and the dog, lol. I even scrounged up a Playful Pets Trinket for the twine! Party at our house on August 26! Yeah, you know they made this set just for me! I of COURSE had to pull in Merry Merlot for my accent pieces - so thrilled with the patterns in our latest DSP stacks - and then had my choice of puns! In end, I opted for a little cheese with that wine, yuck yuck, and colored up my images accordingly. At least these were simple to fussy cut! I still had some black and white striped paper leftover from the Pattern Party pack, so I added some Poppy Parade over this with my Blender Brush. I also pulled my old A Little Wild set from 2019 - these baby critters are the cutest! And because they're meant to be front-and-back tags, I slipped the rear view on my envelope, lol. I colored this handsome fellow with Blends markers, added my sentiment in a heart, and finished with a few resin dots. Adorable! Wow, we have an amazing recipe board for you to cook with this week at As You See It #281! Lots of fun elements to stir in - I started with the "brights" and "patterned paper" to help set my tone. Our giant Celebrate Everything pack of DSP has the perfect set of brights options - and I can't get enough of this Granny Apple Green sheet in particular, lol. I might use every scrap! Anyway, it seemed the perfect backdrop for some bold blossoms - enter Color & Contour! Flowers, outlines to color and dies to go with seemed to fill the rest of the brief, I simply chose the rest of my brights from the coordinating colors listed on the DSP. So fresh! I ended up water-coloring my centers and leaves, since the petals had a two-step stamp for them. I can't wait to see what YOU whip up with our recipe this week - meet you there! I couldn't resist this catch-all class to "round up" some stamp sets that don't quite fit in our other classes, lol. There will be a little bit of everything, with at least 5 all-occasion cards with envelopes today! I think some Sale-A-Bration could sneak in, too, lol!
