Eee! Love the theme at this round's AAA Cards #244 - dogs and puppies! One of my all-time favorite dog sets is our awesome Hot Dog that retired in 2021 - so many fun accessories and sentiments! Anyway, I kept it all super clean and simple for AAA, but worked in some pops of color - for some reason I'm all about Tahitian Tide these days, lol. Anyway, this poor little guy has to wear his cone, but is still wagging his tail - isn't that just like a good dog?? Hot Dog Stamp Set (retired 2021); Basic White & Tahitian Tide CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Crumb Cake, Tahitian Tide & Basic Black Blends Markers; Tahitian Tide Matte Decorative Dots; #AAA244.

Woo hoo! I am super excited to guest design for this round of Time Out Challenges #243 - check out that pretty inspiration pic! Hope I can do it justice! Sometimes I find these interiors tough to interpret, but this one really spoke to me! It's clearly someone's creative space, with fun tools in easy (and tidy) reach! The colors are soft and feminine, too. Which led me to this fabulous color wash sheet from our Bright and Beautiful pack - doesn't it look like that curtain? I pulled out my Crafting Forever set to fill in some images, and spotted this perfect sentiment and jar of brushes. As I was coloring and fussy cutting, a scrap of the reverse of the DSP fell across my "curtain," and I went with it because I loved the look! So pretty! Crafting Forever Stamp Set (retired 2020); Bright & Beautiful DSP; Basic White & Fresh Freesia CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; 20 random Blends Markers, with details in Fresh Freesia & Bubble Bath; Stylish Shapes Dies; #TOC243. Wow, what a great quote at this round's Time Out Challenge #242 - love it! I knew right away I wanted to pull out my Magical Day set from 2018 - I even still have some of the DSP! The dragon in the challenge graphic reminds me so much of dragons from that paper, but when I looked over the set, I knew I really wanted to color the mermaid, lol. I found this bubbly and sparkly sheet in the DSP, and paired it up with Berry Burst, so I went with that for my coloring, too! She has a sweet little trio of seahorses with her, and I finished with some Opal Rounds. Such a cutie! Magical Day Stamp Set (retired 2018); Myths & Magic DSP (retired); Basic White & Berry Burst CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Berry Burst CS; Berry Burst, Granny Apple Green, Pool Party, Bubble Bath & SU900 Blends Markers; Magical Mates & Deckled Rectangles Dies; Opal Rounds; #TOC242. Good times - we have a fun tic-tac-toe challenge for you this round at Retro Rubber #211! I went straight to the center row, of course, embossing - die cut or punch - beach! Then I went straight to my all-time fave beachy set, Paradise Palms from 2022, lol. So fun! I knew already I wanted to try the deboss side of a panel done up with our old Seaside EF - thanks, Deb! - and I floated my beach scene over that! I even scrounged out some Calypso shells from the Whale of a Time Sequin pack, lol. I snuck in a punch for my sentiment, so I'm all set! I can't wait to see YOUR takes on our tic tac toe - meet you at the challenge! Paradise Palms Stamp Set (retired 2023); Basic White, Pool Party & Lemon Lolly CS; Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie Pie, Granny Apple Green & Daffodil Delight Inks; Seaside EF (retired); Large Oval Punch (retired); Linen Thread; Whale of a Time Sequins (retired; #RRCB211. We'd like a peek at your aperture cards this round at Make My Monday #205 - let's see some windows! The very first thing I had to do was go out and try and figure out what an "aperture card" is, lol. I'm interpreting it to mean any time we create a window for the main design to be peeking through. Just to be safe, I also decided that my "window" should be cut from a full card front, so as not to be confused with a frame, lol. I'm sure I made it far more complicated than it needed to be! In the end, I came up with this simple window cut with our Countryside Corners dies, into a beautiful shaded blue sheet from our retired Sun Prints DSP. I stamped inside the window with Nature's Prints, and then decided to heat emboss and lift the sentiment on the same DSP. Such a pretty effect! I emphasized my window with some White Baker's Twine, and finished with a few Classic Matte Dots - hope I'm on the right track! I can't wait to see YOUR windows of goodness this round - meet you at the challenge! Nature's Prints Stamp Set; Sun Prints DSP (retired); Basic White CS; Night of Navy, Versamark & Crumb Cake Inks; White EP; Countryside Corners & Layering Circles Dies; White Baker's Twine; Classic Matte Dots in White; #MMM205. So sweet! The Flower Challenge #82 wants to see something clean and simple this round! To me, clean and simple means lots of white space, and not too many layers, so that's what I tried to stick to. I opted for this lovely delicate spray to color from Dainty Delight, with a pretty sentiment floated over it. At the last second, I opted to do my sentiment on a color panel, lol, so I did stray from the white a bit, AND I adhered a couple twists of linen thread behind it. I do like the movement it adds! I finished with a few little Lemon Lolly Solid Gems. I do love this simple and delicate card! Dainty Delight Stamp Set; Basic White & Soft Sea Foam CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Soft Sea Foam, Lemon Lolly, Bubble Bath & Balmy Blue Blends Markers; Countryside Corners Dies; Linen Thread; Lemon Lolly Solid Gems; #TFC82. Oo, what a great theme this month at The Male Room #176 - travel! Even though I haven't done much of it myself, I'm fascinated by travel in trailers, lol. Specifically, cute little sardine can styles in awesome colors, or maybe even vintage Airstreams, lol. So many fun blogs out now of folks' adventures! So I went back to my carefully hoarded trailer sheet in the now-retired He's The Man DSP pack, and pulled out this diecut sentiment that was in the pack, too - so fun! I couldn't resist adding my own trailer from the Tree Lot dies, too! In the end, my only stamping is on the envelope, lol, because I didn't want to spare more of this DSP, lol. Happy Trails! He's All That Stamp Set; He's The Man DSP (retired); Basic White, Early Espresso, Mint Macaron (retired) & Pool Party CS; Early Espresso Ink; Early Espresso Stamp-n-Write Marker; Tree Lot Dies; 2 1/4" Circle Punch; Rustic Metallic Dots; #TMR176. I hope you like my colors this round at As You See It #303 - I'm missing the Chesapeake! I guess I kind of CAS'ed my picture, too! Now even though THESE crabs aren't the same as my beloved Blue Crabs, I couldn't resist playing Seaside Bay for today's colors! And Stone Crabs are also super tasty, lol, if a bit more work! I did a trio in three of my colors, after dressing up my Gray Granite DSP background with sand and shells, and the Deckled Rectangles seems perfect for my sentiment! A few Crumb Cake scallop shells, and some Sea Glass clusters, and I am done! I can't wait to see YOUR takes on these salty colors - meet you at the challenge! Seaside Bay Stamp Set; Gray Granite DSP; Basic White Tahitian Tide & Crumb Cake CS; Gray Granite, Tahitian Tide, Crumb Cake & Poppy Parade Inks; Seaside Bay & Deckled Rectangles Dies; Faux Sea Glass Shapes (retired); #AYSI303. Critters Class 2023 We just can't let any of our cute critters get away! Time for a critter round-up! We'll be making 6 cards with envelopes, and NO fur, lol. Class is on for Saturday, July 15, at 2 pm! RSVP now to save your spot! Wow, Shopping Our Stash #500 is celebrating a BIG number this round! So their challenge is to include a number in OUR entries! Since I don't actually have any numbered occasions in my immediate future, I decided to get a little sneaky, lol. Our awesome new Fun on Wheels bundle has "high five" in the sentiments! SO, not a numeral, BUT, a number, right? I did double check the challenge wording, lol, just in case! Anyway, I really wanted to use a different set of wheels this time, so I went for this Razor Scooter in hot Tahitian Tide! I matched up with the so versatile Stargazing DSP, and pulled in some other fun brights, too! And since all my shapes were stitched, I went back and ran through my background layers to stitch those, too. My dies got a workout today! Fun on Wheels Stamp Set; Stargazing DSP; Basic White, Pumpkin Pie, Lemon Lime Twist & Tahitian Tide CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Tahitian Tide Inks; Fun on Wheels, Rectangle Stitched, Nested Essentials & Stylish Shapes Dies; Tahitian Tide Matte Dots; #SOS500. Class is on for Saturday, July 15, at 2 pm! RSVP now to save your spot! The AAA Birthday #51 game calls for butterflies! So fun! After a quick search, I was a little shocked to realize that I actually don't have any current butterfly-focused stamp sets, lol. I'm ok with that, though, because my Butterfly Gala bundle from 2021 is still my favorite butterfly set ever! I even still have some carefully hoarded Gingham Gala DSP to go with - including some in our now-returned Lemon Lime Twist! It's a great hoarding day, folks, lol. Anyway, I did a trio of butterflies in three other colors from this DSP, and borrowed the birthday sentiment from Pansy Patch - I think this font is perfect for all these wings! I did resist the urge to pile on even more butterflies with our Brass Butterflies embellishments, and went with these Daffodil Delight Glossy Dots instead. So happy with this cheery card! Butterfly Gala (retired 2021) & Pansy Patch Stamp Sets; Gingham Gala DSP (retired); Basic White, Basic Black & Lemon Lime Twist CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Daffodil Delight, Balmy Blue & Highland Heather Inks; Butterfly Duet & Large Oval Punches (both retired); Daffodil Delight Glossy Dots; #AAAB51.
