It has a set of of thinlits that can highlight some of the key phrases in the stamp set, called Lovely Words (everything's lovely, get it? Lol...) and those thinlits also pair up with many of a "layering" framelit shapes - today's choice goes with the Sweet & Sassy set of hearts. Here's a fun layered layout from Freshly Made Sketch #286. I think these soft colors from Color Throwdown #441 will be an interesting match! So, I always find pastel-type colors a particular challenge - not much happens around here for babies or weddings, or really any ooey-gooey happenings, you know what I mean? Lol, I don't know why this is what I always think of when I see these colors, but I tried hard to forge ahead and put all that right out of my mind! I think I actually succeeded, with a little help from the beautiful Weather Together. The framelits for this set are SO well thought out! I wish I had this pretty umbrella in real life! Well, I have to say TGIF #105's "celebrate" theme is perfect timing for me - it's my birthday today! And I will DEFINITELY be partying for it, lol! I decided a good way to try for a "shadow" effect was to try out our new Happy Celebrations bundle - these celebrations "debossing" folders are way cool to play with! For today's card, I centered my "happy," then stamped the swoosh stripe right over top in three colors, which really brings out the "shadow" effect, hopefully, lol. After much rooting around and head-scratching, I realized that I do indeed have the elements to make the "fusion," and I only had to swap white for vanilla to do it, shhh! At least though, I finally get to use my new heavy weight Very Vanilla - cue the heavenly choir!! I might finally be able to get over my vanilla aversion now that I have a good weight for card bases! I hope the indigo shows well enough on my wings - it looks a little green over the yellow, lol...  Check out that cute little starburst element on this week's Case This Sketch #219! I'm combining with these fun colors from Just Add Ink #357! I landed on Dragonfly Dreams to try and pull all these colors together - they are totally gorgeous, but I don't think I did the Razzleberry justice, lol. Still, I find this card simple and beautiful, and a perfect note of encouragement for a friend. Can't ask for more than that!
