I've noticed that I like floating all this over our corrugated papers, too, lol. It just goes so well! Today I wanted to make sure I brought the rich colors to go with my sympathy sentiment - I hope it looks like a little breeze passing through...  Today's sketch is from Retro Sketch #120 - check out the diagonals! I'm combining it with these colors from Stamp Ink Paper #48! I decided I wanted to play some more with that Swirly Bird set - so many things to build and color with that one! Finding coordinating accessories was a bit of a challenge, but wow, what a fun color combo in the end! So much fun to play with different pairings on these kites! Ahhh, week three of My Pumpkin Challenge #0516 - 3-D Galore is upon us! Today I'm going to attempt combining with Try Stampin' on Tuesday #270! Anyway, as I thought about putting this together, I really wanted to make my elements pop against the Cafe Bag. Let's try it with the muted colors from Create With Connie & Mary #406! Now, as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I get a couple perks, one of which is getting to PRE-ORDER select items from upcoming catalogs - this is SO exciting when it rolls around! I tried to be fairly restrained this year, and I only have two sets left to still play with before I go crazy on the catty with all of you, lol. One of them is the Swirly Bird bundle, which comes with some super fun and funky thinlets to play with. I decided to layer some of the shapes to mimic today's sketch, and with a simple stacked sentiment, wound up with this understated but crisp card. Love it, but I can't wait to play with some brights, too!  Yay! Today I'm trying out a new-to-me challenge: As You See It #134! Looks so fun! I'll be combining it with What Would You Stamp #63's Going Global challenge! I decided to go all starry-eyed today for this one, lol. I love this "dipper" image! This will be a great card for a dear friend who has been lifting me up a LOT lately, too - thank goodness for the friends who travel the way with us...  I'm so excited about our new sketch from Fab Friday #87 - love the play of shapes! I'm mixing it up with Merry Monday #204, too, what the heck! So I have a few tiny retired details on here, but I really wanted to play with this shape! At least the stamp set is current, lol... Anyway, I love embossing these big beautiful ornaments, and the white emboss really pops on the Crumb Cake! I can't wait to see YOUR creations for this sketch - see you there!  Shakers & Sliders Class May 14!
I am SO excited that this class is finally here! I have been planning it since Salt Lake City! For our May class, we will be shakin' and slidin' away, lol! This class will feature two shaker cards and two slider cards, that ALL show off elements from the new catty (which will also be waiting here for you - WOOT!) So, class is still on for Saturday, May 14, 3 pm, chez Heroldt, and is $20! There will of course be snacks and drinks, and your very own 2016-17 Idea Book & Catalog to take home with you! RSVP now to save your spot and have your supplies waiting for you!  Here's a sketch with a LOT of possibilities from Try Stampin' on Tuesday #269! I want to match it with the bold colors from this week's Can You Case It #119! I had to go digging a bit in the Room of Retirement for what I wanted for this one. I eventually settled on switching the sentiment and the accent - I'm so sneaky! This stamp is what made me get this set last year, and I do admit, every time I think I know enough about "sailing" for a lifetime, more big waves come rolling up - don't you find that? Oh well, we still have chardonnay, lol...
