It's already week two of My Pumpkin Challenge #0516 - 3-D Galore! For this one, I'm going to attempt a 3-D card using this cute sketch from Just Add Ink #310! So, I'll be blunt - I sort of CASE'd a range of ideas for this one, lol. First up, I was totally smitten with this alternate Pumpkin card from our Mother Ship, being from Arizona and all, lol. I knew I had to try it! Then when I saw the gorgeous octagon easel card by Tina at Just Add Ink, I realized it was the perfect way to take a card design 3-D! Woo hoo! This card perfectly reps the still breezy but balmy nights we're enjoying here in AZ - the perfect time of year in the desert! Lovely Little Wreath Paper Pumpkin; plus, All Shook Up Stamp Set; Kraft Corrugated Paper; Soft Sky, Crumb Cake & Very Vanilla CS; Early Espresso & Peekaboo Peach Ink; Mossy Meadow Marker; Circles Framelits; 1 3/8" Circle & Large Oval Punches; Stylish Stripes EF (retired.)
So, class is announced for Thursday May 12 at 630 pm, and Saturday, May 14, 3 pm, chez Heroldt, and is $20! There will of course be snacks and drinks, and your very own 2016-17 Idea Book & Catalog to take home with you! RSVP now to save your spot and have your supplies waiting for you!

Look at this cute sketch from Create With Connie & Mary #405! I have a plan... OK, so I know it's a little bit of a cheat, BUT, I always like to keep my SAB sets in play til the end of the main catty. That way, I can just relocate everyone to the Room of Retirement all at once, lol... I also figure, hey, maybe everyone else is still using theirs too, and wants another fun idea! In that spirit, this card was born! I love to take that how "any shape" concept as far as I can, you know... Sky Is the Limit Stamp Set (SAB 2016); Sweet L'il Things DSP; Tip Top Taupe & Very Vanilla CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Night of Navy & Tip Top Taupe Markers; Tree Builder & Banner Punches; Soft Suede Baker's Twine.

Today I'm going to pair up Match the Sketch #123 with the sweet colors over at Pals Paper Arts #299! OK, I can't lie - I really struggled with this one! I started out with another set altogether (flowers!) and couldn't bring myself to post it, so I scrapped it and started over. I kept coming back to the tea cup, and thinking how cool it might look in gold emboss - so I finally gave in, lol... Whew - I battled through! A Nice Cuppa Stamp Set; Season of Cheer DSP (retired); Pink Pirouette & Whisper White CS; Encore Gold, Pink Pirouette & Pear Pizzazz Inks; Gold Embossing Powder; Gold Sequins, Gold Cording Trim; Cups & Kettle Framelits; Pretty Print EF.

I love the BIG sentiment in this sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #235! Let's see what happens matching it with these colors from TGIF #54! There's some fun layers to play with at Can You Case It #118 this week! So, I feel like I need to explain my thought process on this one, lol. When I looked at the sketch, I said, OK, what I need is a fun shape, that I also have in two sizes. I realized early on that there are two sizes of the same leaf shape in Botanical Blooms, which I don't use enough anyway! Then I needed a sentiment that would fit on the larger leaf, sigh. From there, I just kept finding ways to keep the leaf theme going, lol. I think I actually like the final result a lot! Botanical Blooms & Endless Thanks Stamp Sets; Crumb Cake, Mossy Meadow, Whisper White, Basic Black & Mint Macaron CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Old Olive, Watermelon Wonder & Pear Pizzazz Inks; Botanical Builder Framelits; Woodland Textured EF; Basic Jewel Rhinestone.
