Cool! Cupcake Inspirations #589 has a color challenge for us this round! Orange and blue - my old high school colors! Go Spartans! So, I didn't go very West Springfield High today - I went STELLAR! Lol, it was SO fun to pull in my Stargazing DSP to make an imaginative space scene - I so love all the different colored planets and backgrounds to choose from! I even used Blueberry Bushel today - one I use the least, for sure, but this made my card closest to Spartan colors at least, lol. Good times! Reach For The Stars Stamp Set; Stargazing DSP; Basic White & Blueberry Bushel CS; Blueberry Bushel Ink; Reach For The Stars Dies; Blueberry Bushel Tinsel Gems; #CIC589.

Ahhh, so happy to see our Spring flowers theme this round at Retro Rubber #226! I was thrilled today to pull out my STILL all-time favorite tulip set Tranquil Tulips from 2018 - even without dies I can't let this beauty go! I decided to go with my favorite purples, too, since it's all about me today, lol. I found some fun papers in my old Flowering Fields DSP pack, and had some fun playing with shapes! Our most recent Sweet Springtime Paper Pumpkin had the perfect sentiment, too, so cute! I can't wait to see YOUR retro ( at least one year old!) Spring flower projects, too - meet you at the challenge! Tranquil Tulips (retired 2018) & Sweet Springtime Paper Pumpkin Stamp Sets; Flowering Fields DSP (retired); Basic White & Fresh Freesia CS; Rich Razzleberry, Pear Pizzazz (both retired) & Memento Tuxedo Black Inks; Nested Essentials Dies; Purple Fine Shimmer Gems; #RRCB226. We have a Spring theme for this round's Make My Monday #221 - weather, flowers, critters - whatever! It has been FOREVER since I had out my Playing in the Rain bundle - and these guys are perfect for Spring! I decided to go for this puddle-jumping bunny, he's so naughty, and I threw in some just-retired Sunny Days SAB paper - I used the heck out of this one! It was quick work to add just a few touches of color, and finish with some Fine Sparkle Gems - this is totally Spring on a card, lol. I can't wait to see what YOU come up with for our Spring theme - meet you at the challenge! Playing in the Rain Stamp Set; Sunny Days DSP (retired); Basic White & Pool Party CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, Bubble Bath & Lemon Lime Twist Blends Markers; Playing in the Rain & Stylish Shapes Dies; Pool Party Fine Sparkle Gems; #MMM221. I'm excited today to play at a new-to-me challenge that is right up my alley! It's anything goes this round at Critter Crazy Challenges #83! Yay! This is my chance to ink up another Online Exclusive preview - this cute kitty is from the Pets & More set! It has 5 cute critters in it, and all of them (plus a few accessories, lol) are REALLY symmetrical, for reverse stamping that works like a charm! I stamped the detail side of my kitty first in Black, then flipped him over and added some stamped off Smoky Slate to fill in his colors! I couldn't resist added a dot of Berry Burst for his nose, too, lol, I do like to be matchy-matchy! He needed a Berry Burst fishie, too! Still, this is pretty super-CAS for me! Pets & More and Happy Labels Stamp Sets; Basic White & Berry Burst CS; Berry Burst, Memento Tuxedo Black & Smoky Slate Inks; #CCC83. OK, I think I detect several themes at this month's If You Give Crafter a Cookie #189, lol - love cows, anyone?? This seems perfect to finally ink up my new Cutest Cows bundle, lol. So fun! I love all the different choices of cow poses and heads there are, and there are some fun cow sentiments, too! I started pretty simple with this one, and made a background from my hoarded Day At The Farm DSP. I decided a Stylish Square would be good for adding a row of flowers, then I built two cows having a meet-cute! So adorable! My sentiment fit perfectly on this little banner, too! Cutest Cows Stamp Set; Day At The Farm DSP; Basic White & Daffodil Delight CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Copper Clay, Basic Black & SU500 Blends Markers; Stylish Shapes & Tasteful Labels (retired) Dies; Cutest Cow Builder Punch; Daffodil Delight Glossy Dots; #Cookie189. Time to get cookin' with our fun new "recipe" at this round's As You See It #317! I'm thrilled to say that I have another chance to play with my new Latte Love, and all because I spotted this "plaid" sheet in the DSP pack, lol. From there, it all rode on rails! Dots? Check! Die cuts? Check check! Twine? No problem! And for the embossing folder? Our Spatters EF from the Stripes & Spatters Duo is perfect! I had so much fun with this one! I can't wait to see what YOU cook up with our tasty recipe - have a hot cuppa standing by! Latte Love Stamp Set; A Little Latte DSP; Basic White & Pecan Pie CS; Early Espresso Ink; Smoky Slate & Lost Lagoon Blends Markers; Latte Love & Stylish Shapes Dies; Spatters EF; Linen Thread; Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots; #AYSI317. Very fun - Aloha Friday Challenge #7 is all about our "Favorites!" I'll have to pick a theme to narrow it down, I think, lol. Turned out it wasn't hard at all, because I am totally SMITTEN with our new Latte Love suite, coming out March 1 in our next release of Online Exclusives! This suite is just gorgeous! The DSP is amazing, the stamp set is perfectly and thoughtfully designed, AND the dies are amazing and go with both! I even love the little Swirl Dots embellishments - perfect for coffees, lattes, or hot chocolates! I couldn't resist showing off the amazing papers today - so super yummy! Latte Love Stamp Set; A Little Latte DSP; Basic White & Early Espresso CS; Early Espresso Ink; Latte Love & Autumn Leaves Dies; Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots; #AFC7. Nice - AAA Cards #258 has a sweet sketch for us this round - and we gotta keep it CAS! To get my little side element going, I decided to use Vertical Blooms - my only vertical set ever, lol. I still wanted bright fresh colors, but not too much, so I stamped off all my images, both the Granny Apple Green and the Berry Burst. I like the softer look! I stamped my "hello" full strength, from our Sale-a-Bration set, Heartfelt Hellos. As usual, I couldn't resist a little trio of Berry Burst Tinsel Gems to finish things off, lol. Hopefully, I'm still CAS enough! Heartfelt Hellos & Vertical Blooms Stamp Sets; Basic White & Granny Apple Green CS; Granny Apple Green & Berry Burst Inks; Berry Burst Tinsel Gems; #AAA258. Now this is a good one to celebrate - Festive Friday #152 has a great inspo list for us for Family Day! I found a few things I could work with on the list to get going, and picked my stamp set - the still-awesome Coffee With Friends! I don't have too many sets that feature actual people (friends know I'm a total critter addict, lol) but this this one is just brilliant! And has coffee! Lol. Anyway, these two friends raising a cuppa together on a park bench is my favorite image, and along with my favorite sentiment, makes for a sweet scene! So I think I got in bright colors, twine, people, maybe hands because we can see their hands, lol, and outdoors. And I got to color away, which I love to do! Definitely a fun one, and great for a friend! Coffee With Friends Stamp Set; Les Shoppes DSP; Basic White & Lemon Lime Twist CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; SU200, SU500, SU600, SU900, Pumpkin Pie, Berry Burst, Night of Navy, Calypso Coral, Lemon Lime Twist, Smoky Slate & Crumb Cake Blends Markers; Deckled Rectangles Dies; Crushed Curry Baker's Twine; Bumblebee Matte Decorative Dots (retired); #FF0152. Now this is an awesome theme - Farm Quest Challenge Blog #45 is all about porch or deck furniture! Awesome! I think I finally came up with something that will work - not sure I have anything that shows an actual PORCH, lol. However, I spotted this monochrome storefront sheet in my Les Shoppes DSP pack - with no goodies in the windows, it really does look kinda like a pretty housefront! Then I pulled in this awesome old porch rocker from 2005's Please Be Seated - one of my oldest stamp sets! I paired it with this most country of sentiments from Coffee With Friends, and it brings to mind so many summer evenings spent on the front porch as a kid, watching the world go by. Good times indeed! Please Be Seated (retired 2005) & Coffee With Friends Stamp Sets; Les Shoppes DSP; Basic White & Misty Moonlight CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Crumb Cake & Balmy Blue Blends Markers; Stylish Shapes Dies; Linen Thread; Pacific Point Fine Sparkle Gems (retired); #FQCB45.
