And this finishes off the Apothecary Art class!  Two more cards, and a wonderful lidded card holder adapted from the amazing Brenda Quintana of QBee's Quest!  Together with our earlier class, this makes quite an amazing set, if I do say so myself!

I was SO excited to learn that Stampin' Up! was coming to Phoenix for a one-day Regional mini-convention event!   I knew I needed to get in on the swapping action, though, and I threw myself into the task of coming up with something current, original, and beautiful - if I do say so myself.  Making 40 of these was a fun few days work!

OK, so I spent an absolutely FANTABULOUS day at the Phoenix Convention Center for my very FIRST SU! event - Phoenix Regionals 2012!  It was just a wonderful, inspiring, DEEPLY enjoyable day, in kind and fun company.  Just utterly delightful.  Keep checking back for an amazing photo tour of everything I could capture on film!

I was so excited about Phoenix Regionals that I decided to sign up for a hosted swap (besides my "regular" swaps!), hosted by Kathya Hidalgo.  She wanted to do something with the 11-13 In-Colors - who could resist that?  I had so much fun with this card, and finally got to play with my new Edgelits and matching embossing folders!  Woo!

And here's an amazing thing - this card won one of two "Shelli's Choice" prizes, at the very end of our already perfect day!  I was SOOOO amazed!  I just couldn't believe it, and I'm sure I messed up all the air traffic for miles around with how much I glowed!  I got a $50 certificate in a congrats card from Shelli when I ran down to the stage.  And to just throw my freak flag out there, LOOK!  She wrote my name on the envelope herself!  EEEeeeEEEeeeEEE!  It's official, I have sold my heart to Shelli.

Oops, just realized that I forgot to post the rest of the cards for next week's class!  So here they are!  All cards made with the Apothecary Art stamp set, and also using the new framelit set Labels Collection.  See you there!

I am SO excited about our next class  on Feb 15 at 6:30 pm- this will be a mini "stamp-a-stack" all based on the gorgeous Apothecary Art stamp set, combined with the new Framelit Labels collection that coordinate so well and the Everyday Enchantment DSP from Sal-A-Bration!  SO many awesome things to play with!

When I saw this little typewriter in the Occasions Mini, I knew it would be cute as a guy card component - but then I started seeing all these Valentines popping up with it!  Brilliant!
This card combines the stamp set with the new Fashionable Hearts embosslit, as well!

It seemed only fitting that the sweet treat for my ladies at our Countdown Kisses class also used the Petal Card Double Punch - the same one that made all the little doors for our countdown calendar.  I stuck two together with glue dots, and added a cute Valentine greeting on the front, plus a taffeta knot, and had the perfect pocket for a heart-shaped Dove chocolate!  Yummy!

When I saw this card by Amy Gehman on Mary Fish's Stampin' Pretty blog, I knew I had to recreate it!  What a blast of color!  I need to do a lot of re-stocking on birthday cards, what a way to start!  Be sure to check out Amy's other lovely work!

Her color combo just called to me, and combining the two In-Color families is brilliant!  I think this will be Bug's V-Day card!
