OK, I think I detect several themes at this month's If You Give Crafter a Cookie #189, lol - love cows, anyone?? This seems perfect to finally ink up my new Cutest Cows bundle, lol. So fun! I love all the different choices of cow poses and heads there are, and there are some fun cow sentiments, too! I started pretty simple with this one, and made a background from my hoarded Day At The Farm DSP. I decided a Stylish Square would be good for adding a row of flowers, then I built two cows having a meet-cute! So adorable! My sentiment fit perfectly on this little banner, too! Cutest Cows Stamp Set; Day At The Farm DSP; Basic White & Daffodil Delight CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Copper Clay, Basic Black & SU500 Blends Markers; Stylish Shapes & Tasteful Labels (retired) Dies; Cutest Cow Builder Punch; Daffodil Delight Glossy Dots; #Cookie189. Yum! I'm loving our plum cozy colors at this round of Sunday Stamps #329! Today I needed a super quick (and super simple!) card to send out to a friend who just got some bad news. Don't you just hate to hear about that? I wanted to send a little note of encouragement along, and it just happened to fall on our color day at Sunday Stamps! What a challenge! I decided to keep thing fairly stripped down, and brought in Delicate Forest, which has WONDERFUL sentiments for giving a friend a hand up! I stamped off a tiny bit of stem-scape for the background, then did two layers of these pretty stems in two of our colors. The sentiment floats above in a third color, and I finished with some Solid Gems. I still have time to make the mail, I think! I can't wait to see YOUR projects with our pretty colors - meet you at the challenge! Delicate Forest Stamp Set; Basic White, Pecan Pie, Blackberry Bliss & Moody Mauve CS; Moody Mauve & Pecan Pie Inks; Delicate Forest Dies; Solid Gems in Pecan Pie; White Baker's Twine; SSC329. So excited to play something "never-before-used" again at NBUS #59 - as usual, I have CHOICES, lol. This round, I managed to fit in TWO new sets - yay me! I'm finally inking up Doggone Friendly - such a fun new background stamp! There's so many ways I can envision using this one, but I went for the basic background today, and picked out a few color spots in Moody Mauve! Next up, is another new preview set from the upcoming release of the next round of Online Exclusives - Sweetly Scripted! This set features 6 scripty sentiments, all long and flowing, and they'll be great for layers! I vaguely remember something similar from years ago, hm, Wonderful Words from 2004? This might actually still be on my shelves, lol. Anyway, the Scripted fonts are tighter and narrower, and definitely more playful! Doggone Friendly & Sweetly Scripted Stamp Sets; Basic White & Moody Mauve CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Versamark Inks; White EP; Moody Mauve Blends Markers; Moody Mauve Glossy Dots; #NBUS59. Time to get cookin' with our fun new "recipe" at this round's As You See It #317! I'm thrilled to say that I have another chance to play with my new Latte Love, and all because I spotted this "plaid" sheet in the DSP pack, lol. From there, it all rode on rails! Dots? Check! Die cuts? Check check! Twine? No problem! And for the embossing folder? Our Spatters EF from the Stripes & Spatters Duo is perfect! I had so much fun with this one! I can't wait to see what YOU cook up with our tasty recipe - have a hot cuppa standing by! Latte Love Stamp Set; A Little Latte DSP; Basic White & Pecan Pie CS; Early Espresso Ink; Smoky Slate & Lost Lagoon Blends Markers; Latte Love & Stylish Shapes Dies; Spatters EF; Linen Thread; Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots; #AYSI317. Very fun - Aloha Friday Challenge #7 is all about our "Favorites!" I'll have to pick a theme to narrow it down, I think, lol. Turned out it wasn't hard at all, because I am totally SMITTEN with our new Latte Love suite, coming out March 1 in our next release of Online Exclusives! This suite is just gorgeous! The DSP is amazing, the stamp set is perfectly and thoughtfully designed, AND the dies are amazing and go with both! I even love the little Swirl Dots embellishments - perfect for coffees, lattes, or hot chocolates! I couldn't resist showing off the amazing papers today - so super yummy! Latte Love Stamp Set; A Little Latte DSP; Basic White & Early Espresso CS; Early Espresso Ink; Latte Love & Autumn Leaves Dies; Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots; #AFC7. Nice - AAA Cards #258 has a sweet sketch for us this round - and we gotta keep it CAS! To get my little side element going, I decided to use Vertical Blooms - my only vertical set ever, lol. I still wanted bright fresh colors, but not too much, so I stamped off all my images, both the Granny Apple Green and the Berry Burst. I like the softer look! I stamped my "hello" full strength, from our Sale-a-Bration set, Heartfelt Hellos. As usual, I couldn't resist a little trio of Berry Burst Tinsel Gems to finish things off, lol. Hopefully, I'm still CAS enough! Heartfelt Hellos & Vertical Blooms Stamp Sets; Basic White & Granny Apple Green CS; Granny Apple Green & Berry Burst Inks; Berry Burst Tinsel Gems; #AAA258. Look at this sweet little sketch we have for you this round at Retro Rubber #224 - so many possibilities! Since all my teamies went with Valentines, I figured I'd just jump on board, lol. I pulled my 2019 Hey Love set for this gorilla, he fits perfectly inside a circle! I added on my sentiment per the sketch, all over our stack Poppy Parade DSP - I almost forgot we have all these hearts! A few Bubble Bath punched hearts to complete the look, and I'm all set! I even put the inside sentiment in there - "I'm APE over you!" I can't wait to see your cute Retro projects with out sketch - meet you at the challenge! Hey Love Stamp Set (retired 2019); Poppy Parade DSP; Basic White, Poppy Parade & Bubble Bath CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Poppy Parade, Crumb Cake & SU100 Blends Markers; Stylish Shapes Dies; Heart to Heart Punch (retired); Rhinestone Basic Jewels; #RRCB224. Awww, I got to choose the theme this round at Make My Monday #219, and we're all about the LOVE - let's see it, sweethearts! I think I'll also throw in Cupcake Inspirations #587's colors, too - they're perfect! Now that I'm over my phobia for our fabulous new hybrid embossing set, Thoughtful Moments, I'm having a hard time NOT using it, lol. I HAD to use it today for this beautiful "love you" sentiment, which I daubed in Real Red before embossing onto Blushing Bride paper. So pretty! I found this gorgeous heart sheet in my old Sweet Talk DSP pack - this was my favorite one, I think, lol. I floated this large stitched heart from the Stitched Be Mine dies, and added my sentiment over that - simple and quick, but filled with love! I can't wait to see YOUR love projects this round - meet you at the challenge! Sweet Talk DSP; Basic White, Blushing Bride (retired) & Real Red CS; Real Red Ink; Thoughtful Moments Hybrid EF; Stitched Be Mine Dies; Blushing Bride Twine; Champagne Rhinestones; #MMM219. Now this is a good one to celebrate - Festive Friday #152 has a great inspo list for us for Family Day! I found a few things I could work with on the list to get going, and picked my stamp set - the still-awesome Coffee With Friends! I don't have too many sets that feature actual people (friends know I'm a total critter addict, lol) but this this one is just brilliant! And has coffee! Lol. Anyway, these two friends raising a cuppa together on a park bench is my favorite image, and along with my favorite sentiment, makes for a sweet scene! So I think I got in bright colors, twine, people, maybe hands because we can see their hands, lol, and outdoors. And I got to color away, which I love to do! Definitely a fun one, and great for a friend! Coffee With Friends Stamp Set; Les Shoppes DSP; Basic White & Lemon Lime Twist CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; SU200, SU500, SU600, SU900, Pumpkin Pie, Berry Burst, Night of Navy, Calypso Coral, Lemon Lime Twist, Smoky Slate & Crumb Cake Blends Markers; Deckled Rectangles Dies; Crushed Curry Baker's Twine; Bumblebee Matte Decorative Dots (retired); #FF0152. Very fun - Shopping Our Stash #514 has a winter wonderland, OR, a white-on-white challenge going this round! Great choices! I decided to suck it up and do another winter scene, lol, but I do seem to be doing a lot of these lately! This time, I turned to my beloved One Horse Open Sleigh DSP to do the heavy lifting - I SO love this paper! I decided to feature the sheet that has this gorgeous winter fox on it, somehow I don't think I've used it very much. I even found a scrap with an extra fox on it in my pack, so I fussy cut the extra to bring in a little dimension. I added a couple trees from the gorgeous Pine Woods Dies from 2020, which I smudged a tiny bit with Crumb Cake and Cajun Craze. And I finished with my sentiment from Above It All stamped directly to the background. A few Gold Iridescent Pastel Gems add a touch of sparkle. Love it! Above It All Stamp Set (retired 2024); One Horse Open Sleigh DSP (retired, I think); Basic White & Cajun Craze CS; Cajun Craze & Crumb Cake Inks; Sponge Daubers; Pine Woods Dies (retired); Gold Iridescent Pastel Gems; #SOS514. |
